It's a normal day in New York city. Some humans and anthros are relaxing over a nice cup of coffe.

and it's about to go horribly, horribly wrong.

Unfortunately for evil, some of those people are you guys.

[b]Description:[/b] Gunslinger? Hacker? Wizard? Tatto artist?
[b]Traits:[/b](includes weakness)
[b]Bio:[/b]

Trait-wise, you have seven points to raise your listed traits from two to the max of five. You don't have to have any traits, but you'll seriously want one for combat, whatever superpowers you have, and anything you want to be good at.

also, with my understanding of combat, you choose which die will be yin and which will be yang before rolling.

now, I need everyone to be a regular poster. At the bottom of your posts, please list your yin and yang sucesses, and if you're injured, how much Chi you have left. I'll be in charge of the enemies, NPC's, and giving you guys back chi as is dramtically appropriate.

If you decide to veto something, you better have a good reason (yes you guys can veto me). I'm mostly going to use my power when it doesn't make sense based on your character or the plot, since I expect you to ignore physics.

In the background it should be noted that anthros are accepted in society because 1. more people were furries than we thought, 2.how can you hate something inherently warm and fuzzy, and 3. more anthros have a fetish for furless skin than we thought.

Now, if auron can get that link to that dice roller up...

Name: Ramza
Age: 25
Appearance: 6 ft, relatively slender but has deceptive strength. Black slicked down hair. Feathery hat. Black mask and cape.
Description: Almost like a bard from FFT
Singer. Has either really bad singing or good singing(Like "Ahhh! Rip out my earsdrums! It hurts so bad!") Can take on some temporary traits by singing songs about characters.
Traits:
Depression song. 3 (only ranged weapon)
Death on the eardrums singing: 2
Expert kicking skill with steel-toe boots. 3
Can take on certain traits by singing songs and verses from movies:4
Cannot resist classical cliches: (I.E. Cutting the chandelier rope when its above his head).1
Chi:
Bio: As a kid he never got to sing, because his voice was constantly cracking, when he grew older that was solved. He learned of his powers when he sang "No one's slick as Gaston" (Beauty and the Beast) and he developed temporary traits from the song lasting a couple minutes.
Such as a sudden increase in muscles, and a several other things mentioned in the song. Once while he was in school he started singing so very badly that people mocked him, and so he sang very sadly, and people stopped moving, his depression song puts people in such a funk that hey find it hard to move.
He watched so many movies to learn their songs that he got addicted to them, and had to channel this by occasionally doing something incredibly movie-like and cliche. He studied yoga for awhile and gained complete lower body flexibility. He could kick you from behind, over his shoulder. (Imagine Goldmember). Always wanted to take over the world just for the fun of it.

http://wiki.saberpunk.net/Wushu/WushuOpenRules

Read it. we're using the rules there. You need to redo the traits section.

yes, I am using a system of actual rules for this, but since Bards with glorious combat and singing skill wielding rapiers and their wit are allowed, along with Cyborg T-rexes leading gangs of velociraptors to attack coffeshops.

Also, try to keep in mind that your character is effectively an action movie protagonist. That should help you when coming up with a character. You have seven points to raise your traits above the base of 2 and you have one trait, a weakness, locked at one. The higher, the better, as you'll see looking through the rules.

I'm not a regular enough poster to do this, as I often forget this place exists now.

But I'll be reading this one! ;)

Location: Washington, U.S
Name: Strear
Age: 25
Appearance: Tall at 6'4, Strear has medium-short glaring red hair which looks at best scattered, and at worst like a tornado hit the top of his head, and his eyes are a near-glowing green. He wears a white t-shirt which has a black arm-sleeve for the right arm, and stops at the shoulder at his left arm. Instead, his left arm is wrapped in a grey fabric which covers his arm like on large grey mummy covering. His gun Piercer is holstered in an elongated pocket on the right side of his brown jeans.
Description: The Suus Damno (see bio) gunner, Strear's gun Piercer is just a magnum. But it never needs reloading, though after every shot a lever on the side needs to be pulled up and down to fire it aqgain. Additionally, it can shift into a shotgun, an uzi, a rocket launcher, a chaingun, and an arm-covering laser. His left arm is a result of his escape (see bio) and is twenty-five times stronger than a standard arm, as well as being able to augment his various guns with hell's shadow(a dark flame).
Traits:
Piercer (his gun)-3
hell's shadow arm-4
shadow-augmented piercer-5
Diplomacy/charm-3
weakness: anyone made an outcast or trodden upon by others-1
Bio: One of the Suus Damno ('his damned' in latin), a group of people whos early deaths were orchestrated by Trandinium Marl (mistakingly known as Satan). After their deaths Marl gave them the options to stay in tezen (hell) or gain half their life back and an opportunity to gain it all. All they had to do was be Marl's personal hitmen, killing those who dared escape hell. After a few... incidents... Strear refused to kill one, and was thusly murdered by the other Suus Damno. He went straight to tezen, and after a few weeks, Marl just decided to have Strear executed (yes, the dead can be killed). But Strear managed to trick the guards into entering his cell, and knocked them all out, stealing their weapons. He even managed to escape hell, and because Marl already owed him 80% of his life for the "assignments" he had completed, only his arm remained dead and tainted by tezen, and as soon as he left hell, the arm was enveloped in a grey fabric which marked it as a weapon of tezen. But he had his gun back, ha had a new power in the form of his arm, and he was plenty pissed at those who'd killed him. Twice. Strear is a friendly and outgoing person, and through his experiences has gained a weakness for anyone deemed an outcast or otherwise greatly wronged, and will go out of his way, even risk his life, to protect them.

Okay, this guy does seem a little overly-strong, but isn't that the point of the RP? Also, is it alright if I make a villain character?

nah, it's fine. Exactly what I was going for. And yes, you can make a villain character. Leave the chi blank for them (yes, villains can have more health than you) for me to fill in once I start to grasp the party's capabilities.

Edit: ah, here we go.
Code:
[b]Name:[/b]
[b]Appearance:[/b]
[b]Descrition:[/b]
[b]Traits:[/b](note-they do not have to have weaknesses.)
[b]Chi:[/b](leave blank for me to fill in later)
[b]Motivation/brief bio:[/b]

Nemeses will be subject to editing as the party's skills require.

Name: Trandinum Marl
Appearance: Wears a white shirt with a red tie over it, and a brown vest over both of those, as well as a black coat which splits down the back, creating the illusion of both a cape and wings. He also has a sword which he keeps sheathed at his side, a longsword half a foot wide and ten feet in length (the sword just keeps comingout of the sheathe despite the sheathes less than ten-foot size). Marl is bald and, and his ears are long and pointy, which along with his small, squinty eyes makes him resemble a bat.
Descrition: The leader of tezen, Marl controls the full extent of it's powers. Additionally, he can transform, becoming a red bat-human creature with large wings, claws, and three times his normal size.
Traits:
power of tezen: 4
longsword: 4
bat form: 5
Chi:
Motivation/brief bio:Hates Strear for refusing his orders and escaping tezen, plans to kill him and anyone he knows.

Name: Kazuki Yamato

Age: Looks 15, real age unknown

Appearance:
Image
Also not shown in the pic, he carries an Ipod and a head phone.

Description: Super Human

Traits:

-Super Human[Very tough/strong, doesn't age, regenerates]: 4

-Sound Burst[Can emit sound waves from the song he's listening to, stuns and knocks people out]: 4

-Rhytm Fighting[Fights to the rythm of the song he's listening to]: 5

-Weakness: Venustraphobia- Fear of beautiful women: 1

Bio:

Kazuki's life started out pretty normal, he was a regular school kid in Japan. He was a bit small for his age so the popular girls always picked on him. One day he got sick of it and ran away from home, he travelled far and in one of his travels he fell in to the pool of super awesomness. He ofcourse didn't knew it un til afterwards, when he stopped aging, got super strenght and seemed to be able to emit sound waves of the things he listened to.

Kazuki knew what to do with this power, he would do nothing as he was rather lazy and just enjoy himself. He started travelling the world and ended up in New York.

Though his personality isn't exactly encouraging(lazy like hell) he still feels that he has to do the right thing. If he feels like it.

right...the "can take on certain traits" bit is too wide of a power. By which I mean, you can use it for absolutely anything, and that would get annoying over time.

you know, you could just have the "death on the ears" be a ranged weapon instead of some sad song.
