Yes I have high hopes for this game(I used to be a Sonic fan)
And I do think it will be good.
You're opinions about it?

I know it's tragic.
I know it looks cool, but... well I hate to use this but I have to...
Shadow the Hedge Hog.

They remade Ristar too ? coooooool

BTW, I always been a fan of Sonic, but I think those games are more adapted to for 2D games. I only played to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for a 3D Sonic game, and hell, the cameras were horrible. Same thing was for Phantasy Star Online.

For me Sonic Team + Cameras = ¬.¬ not too sure about that. But I might look into it when it will be unleashed

Because it's just so true anymore:

By the way, as an old-school Sonic fan, the sub-par level of quality of his most recent games (read: they were utter [censored]) makes me sad. How do you [censored] up blisteringly fast-paced 2D side scrolling into this or this?

Considering Sonic Team's track record thus far, I'm still skeptical. The parts with the monster Sonic could be fun, but then they could be bogged down by horrendous camera work. The speed parts look nice and speedy so far, and I'm loving the sideway angle. But I'm concerned with how 'stuck on rails' it looks. Hopefully there will be some breaks in which some actual platforming takes place.

2.5D means it's 3D.
They're lying to you.
