I guess I just have horrible movie predidtion skills because i thought this movie looked stupid because of the trailers.
I can relate to that. When I first saw the posters and super-bowl commercial I thought it was a lame imitation of another Disney move
Short Circuit, something like “Johnny 5 travels through space”. When I heard that WALL-E is a robotic love story rather than just any sci-fi flick, I decided give it “the benefit of the doubt” and go see the movie. Fortunately my doubts served me well. Fastchapter’s review of the movie is right on the money, WALL-E is a “must see” movie.
What I like most about WALL-E is the actions and interactions of the characters. The movie has little dialogue (other than the robots calling each other by name), but you can understand and enjoy the plot based on what the character’s do. The only complaint I had was the frequent singing from the musical Hello, Dolly. I hate musicals, but even this complaint is trivial and does not ruin the overall greatness of the film.

ok, quick question, would this be good to see with your girlfriend? Or would it be one of those semi-awkward.......:"oh my god im sittn in a baby movie with my girlfriend  " moments?
Don’t let the “G” rating fool you. There are numerous references to live action films, such as the voice of Sigourney Weaver, as Ship's Computer, from the
Alien films and robots play the bad guy, like HAL from
2001: A Space Odyssey, movies that are supposed to be enjoyed by adults. The fact that WALL-E is about two robots falling in love, with Disney cuteness, will most liketly set a romantic mood with your girlfriend, no worries there.
