Okay, fellas*, enlighten me about the male mind. *Props up in the corner with popcorn and a cold drink* This ought to be entertaining, to say the least.

I think my "s" key is trying to go out on me. Which is funny, this is a new keyboard.

I walk into a room, the first thing I think about is survival. I take note of all possible exit/entry points, what can be used as cover, what can be used as a weapon (In my room, that's pretty damned near everything^^), And, most importantly, where the violent games are, if it's my room or my brother's room. Everywhere I go, I've got scenarios runnin' through my head. Even out in the open, I'm always thinkin' about cover, escape routes, and possible improvised weapons. But, that's just my mind, and even then, only a small part of it.

I'm not sure I understand the point of this thread.... The polling in particular confuses me....

How's that for your male mind? :P

Oh thank god, I just thought it was me. To this day,I'm still uneasy when I don't have my back to a wall or covered in some way.

dont forget, never have your back to the entrance, a window or any other possible entry points.

and I find myself doing that durring school, "ok so if someone were to come in here with a gun and he wasnt looking at me, 1-could I sneak up on him and 2 what could I use as a weapon"

other than that
sex, violence, rock, cars, guns and of course, chainsaws and zombies.

A glimpse into the mind of Kilroy:

1) Is it a friend?
2) Is it STILL my friend?
3) Is it me?
4) Is it food?
5) Is it fun? If so, is it violent in some nature?
6) Is it a girl that I might be able to get sex from? (Yes, that's in there. Last thing on the list, because it's the least important.)

These are the questions I ask to find out if I don't care about something. Each "No" answer declines it in importance. And if the answer to 2 is "No", while it depends on why, it pretty much destroys any chances of importance.

Ah, yes. The male mind. Of humans. How to generalise it? Unfortunately, that is not possible. For it is a thing, so complex and utterly confusing, with so endlessly many possible combinations relying on so many different factors, that trying to frame it into just a few words would just end up giving millions of false results.

I would write an endless post on the subject... If the lazy part of my brain was not dominant at the moment. Maybe later :D

Same here, that's how I think as well. I just thought I was crazy =D

Much of my thought is devoted to thinking of ways I can amuse my self in the current area that I'm in. You know, is there a TV, does it have cable, which of my friends is here, is there a computer, what games are there, if there isn't a computer, what about an Iphone?

I also end up thinking a lot of what I need and how to attain it. What's in the fridge, can I eat it, when will I go to sleep, can I nap here, is this a good place to rest, is anyone going to get pissy if I slack off and so on.

Much of my thoughts ends up being about what is around me and what I can do with it.

But there's a whole lot other stuff which is just random.

My mind is pretty simple. If it doesn't want to hurt me, it's mine. If it wants to hurt me or mine, it's dead. Though, I realize I'm not nearly bad@$$ enough to back up that claim.

Oh, and music. A whole lot of music. Music with love. Sex-love, true-love, aww-love, doesn't matter. Music with love. And solos. Lots and lots of bluesy solos. So... music with lovely, depressing solos?

I just try to find comedy in everything, because I figure, if I don't, I'll go insane with sanity. Music's the big thing, though. If I can find someone that likes the same music I like, for the same reasons, I'll have found true love.

That's really about all there is to me, plus or minus a few quirks.

I just threw in the poll for laughs. Ignore it, if you'd like.

Meh, I voted "XX" because I'm a guy who can't identify with the mindset the other guys have been posting here....
