See, I myself find FL to be all I need. I make good music, interesting music, the stuff I want to make and I'm comfortable using the program. it fits my style of composing very well, which is get the basic idea and arrangment down [censored] fast as possible and then tweak and minipulate it from there on untill I have finsihed track.
I think for ease of use FL is better then Albeton, for me at least. But, if you are interested in doing more Live based stuff it's a bit of kit you really do need to invest in. The best thing I find Albeton Live to be used in my experience is the final mix down, it's built in mastering and EQ VSTs are really good and many people swear by it.
The thing is, it's a very different beast to FL. If you are going to switch, I advise you make sure you have the time to study the program before using it otherwise you'll be more likely trying to figure out how to do something then making a track, which in the end of the day is what you use a DAW for.
