Fun stuff, hough I found it far, far to easy. Also, I wasn't all that scared as I should have been. Not to say that it didn't startle me at times, but it's no silent hill.

Then again, there is somthing cathartic about shooting LIGHTNING from your HANDS.

Bees (well...hornets, anyway). Insect Swarm was my favorite. Not that it was generally useful (you rarely need anything other than Lightning Bolt and Telekinesis), but it was so much fun. Just running around the level, screaming "Bees!" at the monitor.

But Spiffman's right, it's really too easy. My comment was generally, "And then I got the shotgun and no longer feared the dark."

The demo let me get as far as when I had to switch objectives to the medical center, and then fought off my first swarm of party-goers and a flying gatling gun... thing.

What I know so far about it: I want a flashlight, cause those dark corners scare the crap out of me...

Also, WTF little girls?!

Bioshock wins so much. I loved it so much. I wish I'd gotten it via steam though, the stupid DRM on the disc annoys me. =/

Each other?

I'd never played a game like Bioshock in my life, so I was thoroughly spooked. [I blame my headphone and late nights.] Favourite part were those frozen splicers slash mannequins. Grew paranoid after meeting my first one.

But I agree, some parts were way too easy. Final fight was a complete joke.

The one by the weapon upgrade, when you first realize that's what they are, that one actually made me jump. Fortunately for me, I long ago associated surprise with shooting things in the face with the shotgun. Fort Frolic is easily my favorite level in the game. That said, Bioshock's got nothing on FEAR for atmosphere. I was still shooting at ghosts after I'd played through it and knew that they were there.

FEAR did have a fantastic atmosphere. Still, after the first head bending "I'm a ghost girl" thing it lost it's punch. And after the first inviso-ninja I stopped being frightened all together. Paranoid yes, frightened no.

STALKER is actually one of the few games that scares me (only on the hardest setting though). Bloodsuckers are creepy.

Pfft, you want atmosphere? Play Condemned or Condemned 2.

Those games will make sure you never look at mannequins the same way again.

I so agree with this statement. Lousy suicidal baby dolls. Both games got me sitting on the age of my seat wanting to scream as a little girl whenever i see a moving shadow or hobo.

If you combined both Bioshock and Condemmed, you'd have armored hobos!

Fun!

Anyway, I thought Bioshock was kind of short after Fort Frolic. Hepestaus was too easy, except for killing all those freaking Big Daddys for their stupid insides.

Fontaine's place for Splicers and Little Sisters was hard though.

That whole area sucked.

Elite Rosies suck. >.>

Blarg.
