Me and my brother were discussing this in the car on the way home form seeing Stealth(Awesome movie, go see it or I'll send the mooflump after you) and we were wondering who would win:

Aliens...
OR
The Bugs from starship troopers.

Base your decision on what you know about these races, and not which movie was cooler, please. I believe that the Aliens, if they could get a proper breeding ground, would overrun the Bugs, but my Brother thinks that the Bugs would adapt and overwhelm the Aliens. What do you think?

And yes, I know we are sci-fi nerds. Please don't remind me. T_T

the aliens from the aliens movie series or some where ealse please so i can give a valid fight set up please.

ACK! I should think you would know, I am talking about the Aliens from the 1986 Movie "Aliens" with Sigourney Weaver!

If you don't know what I'm talking about I'm not going to tell you. If you haven't seen these mvies, you most likely live in a cave. XD just kidding. They're the aliens that bleed acid.

Oh, and Sigourney Weaver plays Ripley. She is quite commonly referred to as "Rambolina"

Well, I seem to have mistakenly put down the date of the second movie, not the first. The first was made in 1979, the second in 1986, the third in 1992, and the fourth in 1997.

in that case the aliens would win because 1. they don't have to have a hive leader to control there actions like in the first aliens movie and the third 2. they have highly crosive acid blood which makes ever wound and addition to there arsinal. 3. they use there enimaes as hosts to repopulate there numbers and they do that much quicker than bugs from starship troopers and i hate to see what a mix of the breeds would look like. 4. one alien could probly take out a dozen of the bugs before being slowed down. 5. if you put a brian bug against the alien queen there would be only smears of the brain bug because of how frosious the queens are.

that just gave me an idea for a drawing

As I think about it, I think that the bugs would win. This is because the bugs have a 5 foot long vertical Talon that can rip through solid titanium, and that's on the basic bug. The bugs reproduce faster, and without hosts, therefore they are able to gain more numbers faster. I'm not sure the aliens could even get close to the brain bug because of the warriors and the plasma bugs.

seeing as an alien ship would have to crash land on a bug world of the match up to happen the bugs would have to check the reck out at one point or another so they would undoutedly find the egg chamber and one if not all the investgating bugs would get infested and the drons gestate within hours of and grow to maturity quickly and we have a new alien hyrbrid speices off the bugs. these soulder drons would go and hunt new hosts till finally they hatch a queen who starts laying more eggs and more drones come into play and the coline grows and the alien parsitic stage of development works with any creature and it is made to work off genitics of the hosts.

besides if the solider bug pierces an alien with its talon acid blood disolves the talon and it's close enough for the alien to counter attack if it was not a mortal blow but aliens are hard to kill if you wach aliens reseruction you see that they can have there hide pireced mutiple times all overand not die just blead. in the third you see they can surive extreem heat when they have liquid iron poured on one now i'm not saying thay are inolnurable to heat just they can take alot the fact that that the blowtoraches hurt them proves this . they can also survie for a time with out oxyegen as deminstrated in the firs movie when ripley blows it out the hatch of the escape ship. they can survive on most any terain and in most enviroments. it's just the alien is a more adptable and better hunter in my book than any of the bugs.

The way I see it, when a bug uses that talon, the alien is not going to get back up, and there will be another bug to replace it.

but i also thought about this when i made my decision if i was locked in a cage with eather one with only a hand gun at my disposal which would i rather it be. after deciding eather way would be a painfull and grousum death i decided the basic bug from starship stropers because it was the lesser of the two evils and the pistol would hold it off longer and i might actually get lucky and kill it.

there is also the fear you feal when you look at the alien that made me decide it would be the champion that i don't feal when looking at the starship troopers bugs.

The Aliens are soooo poular they win. I mean if you've played Conkers bad fur day or Conker:Live and reloaded you'll see the last boss is one of those aliens! I mean seriously. They win period.
