The sun shone brightly through the windows of Mitadake High. Birds sang in the trees, leaves rustled in the wind, and the last few students at the school were just preparing to leave when a crackled, generic voice emanated from the announcement system, it's message swimming through the halls as it brought dark tidings to the students
school lockdown initiated. Faculty member has been found dead, school will remain in lockdown until the police arrive. Tape of murder saved to security office for police use. Please remain calm but on your guard until police arrive

The message repeats two more times, as if there was a single person who didn't hear it loud and clear the first time. Every student, save one, feels a stab of fear at the announcement, realizing that they're trapped in a school.....with a killer. Every student heard the message, including:

in room D-1: Rose Midna and Kat swan

In room B-2: Spiro Tzounos

in room C-2: Billy Morgan and Lucius Archis

in room A-1: Drisk Kayne

in boy's locker room: Raphael Felidae

in girl's locker room: Carla Kollet

Let the school-day from hell commence

Drisk heard the announcement, and said to himself quietly "I have a few good ideas of who it might be, probably one of those non-humans. You can't trust any of them, ever." That thought stayed with Drisk as he left the room, knowing that by himself he was an easy target, should the killer still be in the school.

Edit: ((This isn't to say he isn't killer, he could be doing what someone would do if they weren't killer to avoid suspicion))

As Rose heard the announcements her blood ran cold, thinking that at any moment she would hear a scream as the killer went through the building. "Great...we're stuck here with a psycho...who's the dumb [censored] that made up this protocol?" she asked darkly, a note of fear in her voice.

She moved and got up, slinging her satchel-like backpack over her shoulder, it thumping against her hip as she left the room. She knew if he had a knife or something it would make a good shield but if he had a gun it wouldn't be as good if at all at blocking a bullet.

Raphael was just fastening his custom shin guards when all of a sudden he heard the overhead go off:

"School lockdown initiated. Faculty member has been found dead, school will remain in lockdown until the police arrive. Tape of murder saved to security office for police use. Please remain calm but on your guard until police arrive"

In a quiet and slightly trembling voice Raphael said under his breath "Oh man, with all of these weirdos in the school, i knew something like this was bound to happen :shock:". While he thought to himself he looked around the locker room for anything suspicious. "well if I'm gonna survive the night I'm gonna need some way of defending myself".

Suddenly, it hit him: *the gym storage room! If I can get to the storage room in one piece, I might be able to find some manner of defense* "I just hope I don't run into anyone along the way :( *whimpers*".

Cautiously opening the locker room door, he checks both directions to see if anyone is waiting to attack. Talking to himself quietly he makes up his mind "well now is a good enough of a time as any to move out". Slowly walking down the hallways, he moves towards the storage room.

Drisk walked down the hallway and thought okay... what would be the best place to get a weapon... something sharp..... I know, how about the shop class? SO, now having reached the stairs, Drisk climbed up to the second floor, determined to reach the shop classroom.

Sprio heard the announcement
"gamo! ti eine afto to skata."
{translation - "f**k! what is this [censored]."}
Spiro started thinking to himself I need a weapon to defend myself. Cafateria knife.
He leaves the classroom and begins making his way to the cafateria.

Kat saw Rose leaving and quickly grabbed her bag, running to catch up "Hey, wait up. If there's a killer in here we should stick together."

Carla was busy messing around in the locker room, sorting through piles of lyric for her songs. It wasn't the best place to do this, no desks just on long bench, but after school hours no one would disturb her with 'more emo song?' amongst other annoying comments.

Then came the PA message.

it repeat another 2 times after that. It was almost as if it was trying to drill the reality of the situation in. It needn't do so.

"You have got to be kidding" she said to herself. "Screw that I ain't being locked in here"

She scooped up the song writing material as best she could and piled it into her locker. She slammed the locker door shut, grabbed up her ruck sack & acoustic guitar and jogged out of the doorway. She spotted Raphael making his way down the hall.

She sighed. Well... the Italian exchange student is here too. At least he's less of a dick then most of the guys in our school. she laughed a little inside. I can't beleive he gets away with those clothes.

"Hey...hey...Italian dude!" she called after him then she rushed up to beside him. "Where the hell are you going?" she asked

Reaching the shop class, Drisk opened the drawers and cabinets to see what would make a good weapon. A saw was sharp, but sort of hard to be able to hit someone with. Insterad he saw a hammer and some nails, and wondered if there was anything he could nail to make it more dangerous. hmmm..... I'm on the second story.... of course! The gym storage room has bats Drisk thought this as he left the shop room and began running down the hall, towards the gym storage room.

She nodded, figuring the girl was right. "We should...more of a defense..." she said quietly, sounding a bit scared but that was a natural reaction, right? She heard a bit of movement down the hall, figuring not anyone had left yet but didn't run to catch up in case they were the killer instead. "Where's a good place to go to get something to defend yourself with?" she asked Kat softly, looking the girl over a bit.

It had been a few minutes after Lucius had herd the annoucnment. What should he do now? A facilty member is dead and the killer may still be around the school and he's locked in with him. He quickly took what he needed from his locked and put it into his backpack. He quickly walked over to one of the doors to see if the lock down was a glitch or wasn't working well enough. He pulled on the handle and the door remained closed. He cursed to himself and walked away from it. He started to make his way to the gym to see if there was a weapon there he could use to defend himself later on.

Raphael was halfway to the storage room when he heard someone shout:

"Hey...hey...Italian dude! Where the hell are you going?".

Startled, he spun around quickly to see a girl carrying a guitar and a backpack with god knows, what's in it. oh man it's that emo girl, i hope she's not the killer.

"H-Hey, Carla. I guess you're stuck here too huh?" He shot a quick glance at the guitar. Still a bit nervous, he decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, "well I'm not just gonna let the killer get me that easily, so I was headed to the gym storage room for some supplies. why do you ask?"

"Stuck... yeah... I have much more interesting thing to be doing then being locked in the school" she sighed. She did appear to be that phased by the 'killer on the loose' situation. Mainly because she thought it was aload of crap.

"Bet it's some prick playing a dumbarse prank" She said with a mild spring in her step. She then noticed how scared Raphael seemed to be. He was eyeing her up, and her guitar. What was the guy's problem.

"you don't actually think that there is a killer roaming around do you?" She said with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk. "oh come on... that's just silly. Tell you what, I'll come with you to the gym storage, don't worry I'll protect you from the bif bad killer." She said with a friendly yet mocking tone. "It is on my way anyway. In return you can help me get out of this place. we got a deal?" she asked

Spiro got to the cafateria without running into anybody.
He went into the kitchen and looked aroud.
He found a few long knives in a draw and grabbed 4, sticking 2 in his belt and covering them with his shirt, and then holding the other 2 in his hands.

Kat looked at Rose "Cafateria or the shop class. Only places I'd go for sharp weapons."

Raphael considered this for a moment *hmm...She doesn't seem like the killing type from the sound of it, and she's planning on leaving the school anyway. This could be a good thing or a bad thing though, so i shouldn't let my guard down*

"Ok Carla, you got a deal. I don't know if it's gonna be easy getting out of the building though, the gates are locked, and the windows are barred shut."

he paused for a moment "wait! if we can get to the security room, then I can probably get the gates or the windows open long enough to get out, and then lock the killer in here....." he looks at Carla, who was giving him a very 'you're nuts' kind of look. "I mean, that is, IF there's a killer in the school."

"Well we better get moving to the storage room first. even if there isn't a killer, we'll still need some form of protection until I can override the security controls. and I doubt that you'd want to smash your guitar to bits over someone's head" He continued walking down the hallway toward the storage room "and by the way Carla," he turned his head around facing her, "I don't need to be protected all that much really, I'm not as helpless as I look ;)."

She nods and starts heading for the cafeteria, not sure if she could handle most of the things in shop class safely. "You don't happen to know defensive moves do you? Like karate or whatever?" she asked softly. "I could use a few pointers if you were willing to show me something I could use..."

Drisk slowed his steady walk to the storage room. There were voices ahead of him, at least two. Reaching the corner that led to the gym storage room, Drisk pressed his body against the wall, slowly moving his head to see around the corner. What he saw was that ocelot from the soccer team and that cat who keeps getting in trouble with her guitar. Anger started to bubble in Drisk, but he suppresed it, knowing that if he just charged in, he would probably get his [beep] kicked in. Instead he tactfully put all the nails but one in his pocket, kept one in his left hand as a stabbing tool, the hammer in his right as a bludgeoning tool, and jumped out from behind the corner, saying "okay, neither of you move." He hoped they would comply, or at least be surprised enough so that Drisk could make it to the storage room.
