Well.... I guess this is as good a time to start this as any. I have a page with the concept of the RP, and I hope it's gathered enough interest. :)
Story: It's an ordinary day in Mitadake High school. There are very few students there, and only one faculty member, since everyone else has already left for the day. The remaining students are packing up to leave when they hear the front gate close and lock. Bars slide over the windows, leaving no exit from the school. A voice is heard throughout the school via the announcement system, saying in a bland electronic voice "school lockdown initiated. Faculty member has been found dead, school will remain in lockdown until the police arrive ((police never arrive till the end of the game)). Tape of murder saved to security office for police use. Please remain calm but on your guard until police arrive." The message plays several times, and is followed by silence. There are very few students left in the school, and one of them murdered the faculty member. The students must survive the lockdown, and the killer must attempt to kill the rest of the students.
The tapes of the murder are in the security office, and there are two of them. There will be a 40% chance either shows the correct person, and a 20% chance that they're both wrong. The killer can erase the tapes, and anyone can view them while they still exist. Please don't say what the tapes show in your post if you look at them, I'll post what they say.
There are many rooms in the school, including a gym storage room ((some weapons could be found there)), the principal's office ((can make announcements to the rest of the school, the voice is always the same so the messages stay ananomous ((I have no idea how to spell that)). There are a variety of other rooms too, it's not limited to those.
Rules:
1. no godmodding or having some "intuition" or "feeling" as to who the killer is based off of things that you read in the RP but your character wasn't there for.
2. No making your character an expert in weapons or a police officer in disguise as a student. Every character is just a student at the school, even the killer. You may, however, give your character a skill they might have in real life, e.g knowing a martial art or being able to swing a baseball bat hard from being on the school baseball team.
3. Be realistic. If the killer is hiding behind a door, and you step through and the killer starts to choke you, there is very little chance you would be able to escape that.
4. Have one hell of a time ((I know this is a cliche final rule  ))
Character sheet:
Name: ((put an asterisk by it if you would like to apply for the killer, who will be informed via PM))
species: ((up to you, can be anything that doesn't give a distinct advantage over other players))
age: ((14-19))
Appearance: ((describe well, put in a picture, do whatever yuo want, though the character must wear the white and blue school uniform))
History: ((not all that important to this RP, it's optional though you probably want to do it if it includes something important, e.g on the concept thread for this, Optix wanted to speak only broken english))
Personality: ((nothing is set in stone, and personality's might change during events in the game))
Strengths/positive attributes:
weaknessess/negative attributes:
medical conditions: ((optional, but if you're character has a disease, an allergy, anything at all, put it here))
other: ((something about your character that doesn't fit in the other categories, type it up here))
So, I hope this RP gets at least ummm.... who am I kidding, it probably won't get too many people, but I can always hope. :(
Well, The IC is about to go up, or by the time you read this it probably WILL be up, but that's beside the point at the moment. Here's the final character list:
Rose Midna, a red fox morph with some medical training
Billy Morgan, a borderline nerd who's good at thinking logically
Raphael Felidae, an ocelot morph on the school soccer team
Spiro Tzounos, a new student who speaks mostly greek and only fractured english (knows karate and Brazilian jujitsu)
Drisk Kayne, a species-ist tai-kwon-do student
Carla Kollet, a cat girl who's a skilled guitarist
Lucius Archis, a transfer student from California
Kat Swan, a sixth-lingual (I don't know what it's really called) person who knows boxing and has weapons training.
