I know this is probably a little early (read: about 8 months too early), but i anyone else looking forward to Killzone2? I mean, the only thing that wasn't good about the first one was the death animations, so really, the sequel can't be bad. The graphics so far are awesome, the death-animations are vastly improved, and the cover system shows incredible promise, as do many of the other new systems (you can use allies to scale things like in Army of Two, among other things). As long as the single player doesn't take a dive like Halo 3's, KZ2 is going to be epic.

Or do you disagree?

Well technically there already was a kill zone 2 it was for psp and was called killzone liberation but i know what you mean. Killzone for the ps3 is probably one of the main reasons i am getting a ps3

Killzone Liberation can't be counted as a sequel as it wasn't a FPS...more of a spin off in mo mind. Killzone 2 is looking mighty sexy, but I hope it's far better then the first which I found to be a let down.

I mean, it looked mazing, I enjoyed the story and the guns rocked but it felt so clunky in comparison to other FSP's. It didn't feel right. I've played FPS's for years on both PS2 (PS3 now as well) and PC so when a game doens't get it right I notice.

Also I felt it was overly hyped up...just like Halo, another FPS that got it wrong.

fps or not it came after the first one and follows the same story which in my book makes it the second in the series. although it is kinda strange you think it would be easier to call the second one killzone 2 and the third one killzone liberation

meh...still a spin off in my mind. otherwise you'd be calling jak & Daxter racing Jak & Daxter 4 which is crappy.
