I had to share some of these with yall, a couple of my donation images I have really liked- but certainly not all of them unfortunately, but I wanted to see what yall thought.

You have amazing skills, Sage, and I love all the pieces. I dunno, though, but I'm just not a huge fan of your coloring style..... -_-' But, personal preference aside, I love the pieces. The perspective on the last one probably makes it my favorite. And I really like the sketchyness of the background on the second to last one. It fits the picture. :D

Fan of the last one simply because it has the most realistic expression out of all of them, imo. Not a huge fan of the way the lines meet the coloring. Some of the lines feel out of place, like the colors were slipped in beneath them and placed slightly off-reference. The Moogle in the second-to-last one just seemed awkward.

The last 2 images...Lia's being rather naughty :P...Granted, if it were to happen in the comic's canon, some other ones of those might be considered naughty so... :roll:

EDIT: BTW, somewhat old, but the image of (I think it was Blue) and kate holding the surfboard in swim suits...You should totally make a wallpaper outta that.

I know what you're saying, I know what he does, it works i have used in on stuff but, i don't like it.

The donation images are free and have always been free- because they are released once the donation goal marker is reached- so every time it reaches an increment of 50 dollars an image is releases for everyone to see. The wallpapers were only for people who donated.

I'll make a wall paper later of the picture of Kate and Blue with the BEACH BALL if you want though...


Im not sure what you mean about the lines meeting the coloring about the coloring slipping beneath the lines- because- well it is- kinda the point in coloring under the lines... But I guess you could mean how it doesn't always flow WITH the lines, like its creeping under it and over- yeah- sometimes its on purpose - sometimes its not supposed to be there - sometimes I think it looks like i want it and I notice it later. But usually it happens because I really cant stand the super flat cell shading so many people do on their ART - i can understand it for animation and comics- but sometimes its just so boring.

As for the moogle- hes supposed to look weird- not as weird as it does- but it is a doll- and when i had the stitches and stuff in him- he looked more like a zombie moogle than a stuffed toy moogle! XD

Ah, it was WALLPAPERS that were donation only. Right, right. Beach Ball? Cool. (Though, in my defense, kate IS holding a surfboard in the image, which is April 25th, 2008...atleast, I THINK it's a surfboard XD)

It's a doll Moogle? :s I don't see it. I still vote it be burned - one of the horsemen of the apocolypse is a Moogle.

A lot of the line problems I thought were goofs was when the lines in the hair didn't really coincide with the different gradients of color in the hair. That, or on the first image where the lines break on the breast, making it look like it's some freaky siamese-boob. I could see that working for something like bone structure, but it doesn't really work there. I'm picky, that's all, :)

You mean the comic picture from last week? Thats way too small to be a surf board, thats a big black inner tube, im not sure how i can make that into a wallpaper- theres nothing behind those panels where that idiot Mayhew gets in the way...
