I got this email today. Can you believe this crap?

Quote:
The home of Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Did you see this one? The black man who hates "rich white" people, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright (Obama's friend and confessed mentor) is having a 10,000 + square foot home built by his church in a rich white gated neighborhood.

I wonder if he'll have room for Obama in the basement when he loses his bid fo' da "White" House.

Here's the best part, it comes with a 10 million dollar line of credit! And by the way, where is Uncle Al Sharpton and Jesse the Jackass Jackson. How come they aren't outraged at the comment, "garlic nosed Italians" by Mr. Wright? Hum? Or do they only get outraged at people like Imus for saying nappy headed hoes?

I guess if you're black, you can insult anybody you like, do shady business deals, get 1.6 million dollar homes built for you with tax free church money, talk politics at the pulpit, and basically do what ever the hell else you want at the "rich white" tax payers expense.

Pass this one around!

If you're gonna jump all over one group of people for doing something that could be perceived as racist or discriminatory, you have to hold the same standards to you own kind as well. Don't be a hypocrite Jeremiah Wright and Jessie Jackson! [censored]!!

The only place I've found this story is Fox News, and every subsequent place I've found it is conservatively-slanted and links back to the Fox story. Until I see this story on another network, I remain highly skeptical. Not to mention the tone of the email is trying to inflame and divide people, and seems like nothing more than an under-handed political attack against Obama.

Well... still, I don't like any of these guys. Especially Jackson, he's a bloody hypocrite. And Obama, what exactly is it he wants to change?

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to go with Kinuki, partially just because it sounds totally fake.
If it were from a media source it would be put in a more professional manner.

Aw come on! This must be totally real- i mean if you see it on Fox- its gotta be- they always have excellent coverage on ever subject and are NEVER bias! They always look at both sides of the issue and make sure each side is debated equally! I mean they did a story on sex and violence in video games- and they had an entire person that supported it as just being a game - while the other 5 all opposed it and cut him off as much as possible or just ignored him when he tried to talk. Totally fair and unbiased i tell you.

Look out- you might step in some sarcasm 'round here...

Noooo that could never happen Sage.

And we all know Fox is fair and balanced, because all right people trust in Fox and therefore what Fox says is right, regardless of what Liberal nutbag with his "Science" says.

And now people will wonder which right I meant.

Okay, were it false, the Democrat biased news outlets would be howling for blood---and the sacking of whomever reported it, agreed? Since that has not happened, one can assume 2 things: it's true, and secondly, they don't want it becoming common knowledge.

This is my take on the subject, just from what y'all've discussed.

That sounds right to me. Sure, fox is putting a huge conservative spin on it, but if it really were blatantly false the other outlets would likely be out for blood. I can't say for sure though.

Hey people dont dispute what is in the National Inquirer- Fox isnt that much different is it? Or does this mean Batboy is real and "MJ" has had a sex change so he can be a mother and create a spawn so horrifying that it will be known as the Eater of Worlds?

All I have to say is that "FOX" news was one vowel short of being correctly named.

A vast left-wing conspiracy? And the conservatives made fun of Hilary for being so paranoid. :P

FOX is lies, CNN is lies, MSNBC is lies...

I get my news from the homeless guy outside the Laird Building. Did you know the end is near, and that sandwich board signs are in fashion? Hell yeah, they are.

Three Chicago news outlets are carrying the story to the tune of : if they wanna build him a mansion, who's else's business is it?

and please point out where conspiracy comes into play?

I'd expect Fox not to comment on a story that was unfavorable to their political leanings as well, especially when there is a tendency to automatically dismiss unfavorable news "Aw, it's political, they're just making it up". Keeping quiet on the issue tends to lend credence to this belief.
It's just another way to spin something, which we've seen them all do.
