Hey guys and gals!

So, this is what I've been working on for the last few days. In anticipation for my soon-to-arrive PSP, and knowing I need to reread the archives to refresh my memory, I have taken the entire comic and resized it to fit the PSP's screen. All comics have a width of 480 pixels, the exact width of the PSP's screen, meaning to read a comic, all you have to do is scroll up or down.

This is, for the most part, only the comic. Filler comics and images, unless they were specifically posted alongside a comic, or serve a purpose in the comic, have all been removed so that the comic can be read seamlessly. It includes every comic through to the latest one. Every time a new chapter is completed, it will be added to the complete collection and released as a stand alone download as well.

Lastly, for a few chapters that did not have "covers," I made a few. If you don't like them, you may feel free to remove them.

And with that, here they are. They have been compiled into individual chapters as well as a into a complete collection. Enjoy!

Chapter One
Chapter Two
Chapter Three
Chapter Four
Chapter Five
Chapter Six: Part One
Chapter Six: Part Two
Chapter Seven
Chapter Eight
Chapter Nine
Chapter Ten
2kinds: Complete (Chps. 1-10)

If you have any problems, suggestions, or notice anything wrong, please let me know. Enjoy!

Many thanks to Robbie for his archive, which helped me download the images much more quickly and served as a great resource; to avwolf, for his input; and to Tom, of course, for making the comic.

Damn fine. I wonder if Tom would ever send 2kinds to wowio, where you can download comics. I think pheonix requiem does it, and a few others.

Now, if I only had a PSP... Mmm, maybe the MP4 players I've been looking at would still be able to use these.

Psssht. I don't deserve credit; I didn't do anything. "[T]o avwolf, for telling me that he didn't happen to know anywhere I could put these," would be more accurate. :P

Let me take advantage of my prescience though, and recommend all you all to check out Chapter 5's custom cover. It's really spectacular work. ;)

*Has a PSP*
*Wonders how tough it would be to load the entire comic onto a memory card for viewing at leisure*

Copied the complete collection onto my PSP!

Only problem is, most of chapter 1 is at the end of the list instead of the beginning, and a few odd pages are at the end as well...

Too bad I have no idea how to change the order of files on the darn thing...

That's really odd; the pages are numbered specifically so that won't happen. Sorry about that!

Well, its a good idea, but I see one *major* problem - Text. You resampled the image, which is fine for the panels, but text blurs at the edges, making it hard to read. While it would take a bit of work, if you could put new text in after resampling it, then it would be *way* easier to read.
I know this would take quite a bit of work, but it would be worth it.
To make the job easier, I suggest just making the background for each text box white, instead of semi-transparent like they are now(trying to reconstruct whats behind the text is extremely hard).

Thats just my 2c.

As a note, if you want, I can upload a copy of these to my archive.

I'll just wait for the epic book that Tom is working so hard on. At least that way I don't have to worry about dead batteries, used memory, and squinting at a small screen.

Thats... going to be a while. Personally, I don't see why Tom doesn't just throw what he has together, compile it, and shove it on Lulu.com for perhaps $10 profit, then later make an actual full, super-nice version once he completes the comic.

Image Of cource, if you want a copy *now*, you *could* simply print a copy yourself - Inkjet printers are cheap(especially used), and its quite doable.

That is true RobbieThe1st, however, I am a patient man who has plenty of college assignments and projects to be kept occupied for seasons on end, even during the summer. I can wait.

Besides, I actually do have a few of my favorite 2kinds strips printed out, which I show my friends.

I can honestly say that I'm not sure what you're talking about in regards to the text -- I can read it just fine, and I have abysmal eyesight. I thought about replacing the text on the beginning pages, but think about it this way: redoing the average page would probably take about 10 minutes, since I'd have to color the speech bubbles white and put new text in. With 440 pages, that's 4400 minutes, or roughly 60 hours. I just don't have that much time I can devote to this, when the gain would be minimal, at best.

If you or anyone else would like to do that, that's fine. I put these images here so people can use them as they see fit. But I don't feel up to two and a half days of nonstop photoshopping.

You can host these on your site, if you like. That's perfectly alright with me.

I can read it all just fine...
:3

Of course, it takes some time to get used to how the PSP does the out-of-focus then in-focus thing every time you move the screen...
