Of course it is possible - it's not nearly as fun as drawing original characters but its possible and is normally better when personality is applied over original features.

I had a commission done for me at Nekocon one year [that's an anime convention for those of you lost.] and it's beautiful. So yes, it is possible.

My personas are always (slightly altered) versions of me. Altered in ways that make sense (a little skinnier, longer hair), but they still look like me.

I actually gave someone a descirption of myself, and they drew it, and it was AMAZINGLY dead-on. (this was a few years ago, though, and I've changed a lot) and when I showed it to people, they were like "My GOD, is that you?!"

That would be a bit weird if the two of you had a full-blown conversation at that Con and didn't know it. :twisted:

xD!
If you saw a pair of Zombie kitties last year, I was one of them. We were literally a pair. My other half was with her son. I didn't know about you then so I think you might've escaped ^^;

But I had the commission done at Nekocon 8. I have it hang on...

That's the commission I had done. I had seen her drawing Etna and I admired it so much. She was doing commissions so she drew me that. That and I had kitty ears on at the time xD

And that's zombie me. For reference. I'm on the left.

No no no, you have to draw a few triangles and trapezoids too.

Fastchapter, Fastchapter. I must say, you have a terrible taste for colours. And the expression on her face is moronic. This piece will never sell. Too bad.
