Okay I've decided to bring all the artwork I've posted in this thread into this first post, so people can see everything without having to search through the topic. Images are listed in order of when they were posted.

My secret (At least with sketching) is to never commit to any solid line ever. There should never be a strait line that is there on purpose, unless it's made of a bunch of strokes that combine to become a strait line. Sketching becomes nothing more then scribbling in specfic areas, which is very fun and freeing. I always feel a little melencholic about having to ink stuff, cause then I havta erase all those beautiful sketched pencil lines, but alas, it's necessary for it to turn out properly digitally. I'm gunna be experimenting with different ways of inking soon, gunna see if I can get some of that pencil feel through. Anyway, glad you like it.

Edit:My mad scribbling is what makes my avatar's bandana so intricately detailed(when viewed up close). You shoulda seen it before I inked it. Actually, I think I have a link to it somewhere, go check it out @ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/ ... sketch.jpg

This isn't a very good scan as my scanner left a white strip down it, and I'd already started the inking process with the hood but it's the best I got.

Here's another little sketch I just finished, working along the same theme. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/14323229/
Very happy with this one.

Here it is. My weekly themed sketch used as a backround for my cyborg. http://img112.exs.cx/img112/1952/sketchre7cm.jpg I'm very happy with this, as the moonlight sketch I drew was originally made for the purpose of being a backround, and it does that job well.

A new sketch I'm working on, I'll finish him up tommorrow. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/ ... etchre.jpg Once I'm finished he'll have both legs and hopefully a decent backround. He's actually smaller on the page then is presented, I just focused on him while resizing it in photoshop.

Yeah, you may think killzone but the actual influence came from somewhere completly different, plus his legs look nothing like the guys from killzone. (I hate that game BTW, you can shoot a guy twice in the head or more then 5 times in the abdomen and he won't die but one rifle butt and pow! Instant kill.)
