But that's a pronounced bulge. I don't think Flora's denial is going to be able to last very long. (Seriously, we all know that she's going to try to deny it. I mean, it's the only sensible thing to do -- as far as anyone knows, she can't have children with the only man she's been sleeping with).
Are you sure about that? You know magic can change things right? :p And the pendant and the drinks Master spy gave them might have been enchanted :p
Well, I'd say they were "most certainly enchanted." However, there's no indication that magic is powerful enough to do the job.
It seems apparent that the demigods running the joint decided against such children exist for some time (though not initially), and now the rules of the game have been changed. The question has always been not "did Ephemural allow something that has, for the memory of all the characters, been impossible," but rather "did it make it possible for Trace and Flora alone, or for everybody, so a number of sex-slave holding people are going to have some mighty big surprises forthcoming?"
It's interesting that the demigods are the ones intent on maintaining the purity of the bloodline. So if Ephemural has now permitted this child of mixed blood, will the Mask leading the humans in this iteration of their game work to prevent the child or children from being born? Will it try to kill him, her, or them?
