I couldn't find any posts regarding this issue, so I thought to make one.

So, what do people think about this topic? I mean, just look at Tom's siggy, it should say alot.

I don't think they had THAT kind of a relationship. But I'm sure they were really close.

Didn't we talk about this in multiple comic threads? Y'know, the threads for the comics wherein Lady Nora was talking about their past and blushing? Ah well, whatever.

I don't know if they were actually intimate. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't. Heck, maybe she once petrified him and used him as a....Oh dear gods, I just got that image in my head, pure awesome :oops: .

Well in a friendly relationship yes, but in a love kind of way...doubt it, I think shes just playing with Trace's mind (and ours) just by acting like theres something more to that relationship.

None the less, it looks more like she's just torturing him.. maybe for Flora xD

Even when you're thousands of years old you can still be silly. Or maybe she really was trying to get into his pants. We only have Lady Nora's side of the story, and we've seen in the past she can be mischievous, but she also comes across as a woman that can get what she wants, no matter what it is.

Or maybe she just wanted the pants. Who are we to tell what's going through a dragon's mind? :P

Well, when Trace inquires about his past Nora admits they knew each other 'quite personally'. Make of it what you will...

There is a backstory on the relationship between the two of them, though it is irrelevant to the Twokinds plot overall and has been largely omitted - though playfully referenced.

The thought of Dragons shape-shifting to human form and living among humans is not unknown. People have weird desires. Hell, Insomniac over there is living proof of that.

Truth is, we don't know. Unless Tom feels like throwing us a scrap of information either in or outside the comic, odds are we will never know. Though that won't stop the fanfic writers.

Technically, Tom has weighed in on this topic, just in an almost wholly unhelpful manner. It's that blasted wink! Check his edit in pocketlint's post. This is a topic Tom's pointedly staying away from. And I don't blame him: this is a relatively safe place for the fandom to wander around in. Unlike most of the topics he's addressed, Trace and Nora having a, uh, physical component to their relationship really doesn't have a lot of impact on the plot. So, why not let the fandom argue, tear apart, and analyze? We don't need to know the truth of this question to understand their current friendship. From Nora's comments when she was telling Trace of his past, she certainly doesn't sound like she would have been intimate with him before Saria died, though the question is still open for after her death.
