I've been having some trouble with my graphics card overheating and a friend suggested turning it down. But my friend was using XP when I was using Vista and I couldn't find the menu from the instructions given. Doesn anyone know how to access the graphics card accelerator for Vista?

EDIT: I found how how to access it, but when I'm on the menu, it says "Your current display driver does not allow changes to be made to hardware acceleration settings." Why can't I change it?

What card are you using?
What are the temperatures?
What are you doing when it overheats?

I'd recommend just lowering your Core and Memory clocks using an overclocking utility such as ATi tool or rivatuner.
