My all time favorite comfort food is Golden Mushroom soup.
Italian: chicken marsalas or seafood in a creamy garlic buttersauce over fettuchine

Chinese: Happy family (mixed chicken, beef, and seafood) over white rice

Scottish eggs are to die for, as well.

really, there's a plethora of yummy stuff out there, and I have a hard time picking just one.
or one nationality.

I've heard it different ways: sushi meaning sticky rice, and I think sashimi meaning raw fish.

Is that correct?

Can't do raw meat, uh uh, not I.

Well, I voted USA because there was no "Texan" option. I lived there for a number of years, and nothing has ever come close to the kind of steaks I would get at The Traildust. It's the original, and thus the best of the small chain. Let me set it up for you:

The restaurant is set up in an old barn, with a large, sawdust covered dance floor and a live band. They have a huge fire burning, where they cook all their steaks -- a hickory smoke fire, to be exact. I've had my fair share of steaks -- Outback, TGI Fridays, etc -- but nothing has ever come close to what I had at that wonderful establishment. You get a side of mashed potatoes the size of a small child, all the steaks range from 8oz up to the 72oz "Cowboy Steak".

I must be of some kind of stereotype by saying I like Asian food. Mostly Chinese, Japanese, and Taiwanese foods. It's what I eat most often actually. More than other foods. o.o

Lasagna is my absolute fave...

Followed by steak...and these Baja-style tacos at this one place...and a nice gyro platter...and the blue cheese burger at Chili's...
X3

About the sushi:
If I remember correctly (all I can recall off the top of my head without resorting to google XD), the stuff wrapped in seaweed are sushi rolls, the fish by itself is sashimi, and the ones that are slices of fish on rice (no seaweed) are nigiri sushi (some say nigiri zushi, but that's for hardcore types)...there are a few more general types, but they are pretty rare, at least in the US...
:3

Would you rather i typed out every single country in the world, and every state in the usa with a unique cooking style, there would be way to many options. Don't make me feel like i sterotyped people to make a better poll, i mean i Technically am very weird i dress like an (forgive my sterotyping) Emo, i am built like a jock and my hair is alsom semi-emo, but i, all i like to do is be a Gamer, so yeah don't cause the thread to become hijacked please, make a thread about how stupid sterotyping is if you want to talk about it.
