Silly thing, But I am feeling wicked awesome right now.

I was able to successfully outwit and dispatch a friend of mine armed with an air soft gun, while I only had a rubber knife. This was a game we were playing, and I dispatched him with a stab to the carotid artery after luring him into a darkened room. I have to admit it was awesome. For a six foot tall 215 lbs wrestler, I am surprisingly stealthy.

Now I don’t know if everyone is into this sort of thing, but I know I love the sweet taste of victory on my lips. This little space would be for informing the rest of the world about your glorious conquests in any direct competition. Sports, games, debates, anything you can think of. If it was impressive, or even just really lucky, tell it here. Let the world know of your glories!

But maybe that’s just a little too much hubris for everyone else.

Valorous story that also makes me out to be a squealing weeny. It is possible.

In basic training there's this absolutely ridiculous training exercise we had to do one day involving paintball guns. Us privates who know jack about combat, versus the drill sergeants. Drill sergeants who have seen war and know what they're doing. You should already know the general outcome (there is only ever one outcome - total annihilation of the privates), but I at least got some respect before being shot up to bits. Kinda.

I was in a four man team raiding this 2 story building set up for this paintball exercise. The drill sergeants are hiding in the building waiting to blow us to hell. After a while and lots of bruises we make our way to the last hallway before we're done. And low and behold, at the end of this hallway we're receiving immense fire from a DS who built himself a little wall/shield out of furniture.

But...we have to clear that room. We can't finish without clearing it. But to get to it, it's a 40 foot straight hallway with the drill sergeant having a clear line of fire at us. So what do I hear. "Graham! You rush, we'll cover you!" Followed by the support of the other 2 guys. Lucky me. I couldn't object. I turned the corner, ran up that hallway getting shot over and over and over and screaming the whole way. My friends and the drill sergeant must have thought it was some battlecry, but it was actually just me screaming in agony over having all the blood vessels in the front of my body broken by paintballs (if you think drill sergeants set their markers to anything less than the maximum FPS possible...you don't know drill sergeants).

I made it to the room, shot the DS, and we finished. I had bruises for months that wouldn't seem to go away... Not my favorite day of basic training. That drill sergeant seemed to respect me a little more though.
