Oh Noes! Sad Natani :'(

New Comic...Discuss!

Aw, poor Natani, a moment of insecurity. I wonder if she's actually starting to realize why she had a moment like this -- why would you compare yourself to her like that if it didn't matter, Natani? Though Laura is really nice. This should make for an interesting follow up conversation with Keith. I like Keith's hesitation on "friend," too.

:D And so it's Laura that suggests Natani get herself out of those clothes. :P

Awwww... Poor sad Natani. If I wasn't such a fan of Shakespearian tragedies I'd be more upset.

On another note, I can't take Laura's stutter any more! If she does it one more time I will find the origional comic files and somehow transport myself into the comic and strangle her myself!

1. Laura recovered incredibly fast, methinks.

2. Poor Natani; you just know she's heartbroken. She's obviously fallen for Keith, but she thinks that Keith likes Laura, who is, essentially, Natani's antithetical counterpart; so now she thinks Keith couldn't possibly like her, if she's the complete opposite of what she thinks he likes.

3. Keith quite clearly has feelings for Natani as well, as evidenced by his hesitation before calling her a 'friend'. Either he's got feelings for her, or he suspects her of being a spy for real, and is thus hesitant about calling her 'friend'. I'm gonna go with the former, I think, on this one.

No. I said 'former' meaning that I think he has feelings for her. If I'd said 'latter', it would have meant I thought he thought she was a spy. [say that ten times fast]

I really, really wanted to see how they explained the "Trace Situation" to Laura, but I guess that it was just not meant to be...

B: KNOWS who she's talking to.

I think Keith's getting clued in.

This has been a big day for Laura. I'm not sure how Tom did it, but she really does look tired.

Natani's been wondering why Keith could possibly fall for Laura. Now she's met Laura. Like Sable pointed out, Natani immediately fastened on how she feels Laura is different from her (but different in a good way, rather than looking at how Laura seems weaker than she is). Natani missed out on the hint from Keith herself, and, combined with her jealousy, has convinced herself that Keith can't possibly like her, since she's so different from Laura. This should make for some interesting moments; hopefully Natani doesn't try to change herself to get Keith's attention. I really don't care for this to turn into a complete sitcom.

Dear lord why does Laura stutter so much?! Make it stoooop!!

*rubs hands together* Yesss... take the wet clothes off... mmmmmmm....

What's wrong with Laura's stutter? It's really not so bad, and I happen to think it makes for an interesting thing to define her character. Maybe I'm the only one here who reads the interesting dialogue out loud, but the stutter gives her such a distinctive voice that it gets read out loud more often than the others. She stutters less than the people with actual stutters I've met, and she's managing this under some incredible pressure.

Though now fastchapter's got me thinking about Natani stripping her wet robes off and I might not get back from that little trip through the imagination for some time... :P

Gotta disagree, the stuttering isn't believable any more. Her body language should inform her stress. People d-don't stutter like th-this unless have a speech imp-pediment.

There's a difference between nervous stammering and cliche stuttering. I'm with Kitten. Kill Laura until she knocks it off.
