Final Fantasy 7

ok I'm pretty sure that we all know what FF7 is. If not than go to wikipedia!...
lol nah I'm just kidding. Actually it has become the only FF game that has a series. By that I mean movies and other games about it. So I was wondering if we could make an official thread for FF7 also??

I hate Final Fantasy 7. But, nothing's stopping you from making an official FF7 thread. It doesn't have a way to connect you to other players (like MMOs and dancing games) though so it likely won't be stickied.

I personally liked FF7. It was pretty much a new revolution for RPG games, had a good plot, and basically, it's why people say that it's the best game ever.

x'D I thought I'd do that.

D: Everytime I think of FFVII, I remember that I lent it to a friend of mine [at the time of the lending] and he lost it ;-; Why!? It was in mint condition too ;___;
Not to mention I lost my memory card too ._.

Anyways, onto the game itself. I played it way too many times. I got everything, I completed everything.... you name it. I even had gone around to counting how many times 'Sephiroth' is said on each disk!
I never finished that. I think I got half way through the 3rd disk and lended out my game D:

I'll either have to buy it again, somehow, or borrow it from a friend of mine. She and I lend stuff to each other and get it back in perfect condition :3

My favorite part of the game, is when you go into the ShinRa Company building for the first time after climbing the wire by the Wall Market. [Sector 6 I wanna call it... since it was right by Sector 7] You either have the choice of fighting your way up, or taking the stairs. I was always evil, and kinda lazy, and took the stairs.

"Right... couldn't be that...."

"Are we there yet?"

"Not yet."

Barret
"...there yet?"

Tifa
"I said not yet!"

Barret
"Yo..."

Tifa
"Look, don't even ask! We're way way way way far away from being
there, ok!?"

Barret
"Damn, man! I've had it! I'm going back!"

Tifa
"And take just as long going down as you did coming up?"

Barret
"............."

(Barret stops to rest, panting.)

Tifa
"C'mon, Barret. Pull it together!"

Barret
"Yeah, well all I know is I'm just flesh 'n' blood.... 'cept
for this arm of mine."
"Don't treat me like I'm some ex-member of SOLDIER or
somethin'........"

Tifa
"What about me!? I'm human too! Oh, do what you want, I'm
going on!"

(She pauses.)

Tifa
"......?"
"Yaah! Barret! You go first!"

Barret
"What're ya ignorant? I didn't mean that..."

Tifa
"All right, all right!"

(Barret goes on.)

Tifa
"Cloud, you go on ahead too!!"

(Cloud goes ahead.)

Barret
"Yo... What floor is this?"

Tifa
"...I gave up counting."

Barret
"Why they gotta build these buildings so damn tall?"
"That Shinra.... They're just no damn good."

Tifa
"........."

Barret
"huff.... Man, I'm beat..."
"Marlene, Daddy wanted to see your face one more time..."

Tifa
"Would you stop acting like a retard and climb?"
"It's just a bit more!"
"...maybe."

(They reach the top floor.)

Barret
"F... finally... M... made it..."
"N... never wanna see... no more stairs the rest of my life..."

Tifa
"huff... puff... this really takes it out of you..."
"But this is it. We'd better get ready...!"

Oki so... about all the other stuff. I've seen the Advent Children movie atleast 20 times, in both Japanese and English, and I haven't played Dirge of Cerberus yet. Uhm... And I hope they make FFVII with uber graphics :3

Oh, and I get called Tifa a lot.
And I like Sephiroth. Not cause he's bishie either okay? That's just a plus.
I'm done now. Really.

My personal favourite whih happens to be the favourite of the original creator of the series, is FFIX. :3

FFVII? Pherrf. Denied by FFIX.

FF7 < FF9

I found FF7 had a lot of gaming flaws and so many plot holes, hence -Why- it has a series, because Square-Enix needed to fill those plot hole with Anime/FMV cement.

Enough said.

Yay! It feels great to not be alone in hating FFVII. I didn't like much of anything about it, but especially the plot and the characters. My personal favorite is definitely FFVIII. Sure, the plot kinda goes downhill around Disc 4, but I'm a sucker for the love story, and the main character *gasp* actually changes and grows!

To be fair, he's gotten at least a basis of power in recent movies and games. Before it was all fan-speculation. Now we at least see he has some power, he wasn't a mama's boy (Well, not completely), etc.

Though FFVII is by far not my favorite FF game. That goes to the original FFT (Before they modified it, the ORIGINAL, to fit in with the NEW games). Great story, gameplay, etc.

I personally thought 9 was pretty stupid. I could never grasp the concept of being a monkey or a cat guy. I can't remember...

well my favorite FF7 character was Zack (which is why I am buying Crisis Core) although he wasn't in the game that much, I soon created a theory about him (which soon became the true theory).

I liked cloud but I like Tidus better...

as for Sephiroth...That's my kind of Villain! He is like really powerful and evil and has a cold heart so I guess he his my favorite. As far a my FAVORITE ff goes...I have to chose FFX by a hair. I liked the story and how it all ran together. I was kinda sad though at the end...It may sound gay but I almost cried because of the ending...

But as for FF7 I think it is one of the BEST ff7 games ever created!

Yeah, I feel the same way, seanior. I too thought that FFIX was rather odd. People with monkey tails is weird, and it seemed a bit too cartoonish for my tastes for a Final Fantasy game.

FFX was good. It had a good plot, but it didn't have that type of twist like FFVII when Aeris was killed. But nevertheless, it was an excellent game.

But we all have our own likes and dislikes. I say that FFVII is one of the best RPG's yet.

~10 Reasons WHY I like Sephiroth~

10. He happens to look cool in all his screenshots o_O

9. Unlike other villains, he's got likable features. [He's not scary looking like Ganondorf]

8. He's actually one of the many evil characters that has likeable eyes ._. Yes. I like his eyes.

7. He can manuver with ONE WING. Wth seriously?

6. His clothes. Do you see how exposed he leaves his chest? No I'm not drooling over his chest. I mean, if I was fighting him, I'd strike there first. It's an open space, and vunriable to attack. I consider that a tactic.

5. He's a man of few words, but good words none the less.

4. He's fast. Like, AMAZINGLY fast.

3. When he said he was going to take the planet out, he was going to take the planet out. It's not like he saw Cloud and the Gang after him and said "Oh hey let me take them out every step of the way, and make their lives an impossible living hell so I can poof the planet."
Noooo he made their lives a living hell WITHOUT TRYING.

2. Sephiroth - The divine name of creation in ancient Judaist Mythology. A name that strikes mystique, enigma, and an unknown resonance of power into any so-lucky beholder. And the number one reason WHY I like Sephiroth...

HE KILLS AERITH. GOOD GODS THAT MAKES ME HAPPY..

nevertheless, I like Zack. He to is mysterious and unknown but all will be revealed in Crisis Core!
