If Laura went to look for keith at the basitan islands then what happen when she went into heat? Becuase keith had his feet showing and got in big trouble. So i'm guessing laura running around neked humping everying liveing is really bad, right?

I suspect they would lock her safely away in her house. Actually, she probably did that herself, much like Flora or Natani did.

my theory is that

one, foxes have better control, over it either cuz they have longer time spent with the other races (VERY bad for trade wend your women try to rape your people and whatnot) or just as a race

two, some kind of drug that supresses it

three, with her old age she no long has it, hint, hint,

Well it is true that nature has decided that women that end their periods have a higher chance of survival, since they are able to rear their children instead of having more of them.

I like the medicine idea though.

I agree with avwolf. from what we have seen from Basitin culture, I am sure they wouldn't take any chances with indecency or any law breaking, I am sure they made her "understand" the advantages to self imposed isolation.

Remember that time Flora contained herself even tough trace was still around?

I think due to Laura's own personality that she has very strong control over herself. Plus age probably makes heat die down a bit.

But keith is back....maybe something will spark. :wink:

becuase a period IS being in heat,

humans just have more control over their animal nautre as they have better things to do

Basitin only do it once a year
