Not necessarily humiliating as in utterly embarrassing in front of millions of people, other things teaching humility are welcome.

For today, I watched "The Saints are Coming" music video and could have sworn that something along those lines had actually happened at one point, so I thought it was pretty inspiring. Then I realized it was a case of deja vu and felt like a total tard, and now I don't want to watch the video no more. And if I hadn't, I would have probably told my friends about the video and said "I remember when that happened..."

Thank you, God.

And I seriously need to sleep NAO. so good night.

I have entirely too many cases of foot in mouth disease to count. So, yes, I understand humbling experiences.

What's an ego, again?

Vell, zhere are two kinds of Ego. Vun kind is the kind zat refers to vanity. Zis is ze more widely known kind. Ze ozer kind is ze Ego, or ze part of ze mind zat acts as a counterbalance to ze Id, vich focusses on what ve vant immediately. Ze Ego is ze logic center of ze mind, focussing on vat is best in ze long run, vhile ze super ego is a ballance of ze Id and Ego.

One time I was watching "My Neighbor Totoro" in my room. Now this didn't end up being really embarrassing, but it was a uncomfortable situation.

As we all know, Japan has quite a different culture, and sees things differently then here in America. More specifically, family boundaries and taboo's.

Well this was a Disney movie, in a way, it was picked up by Disney so it could be distributed in America. Anyways, since this family acceptance is so different in its country of origin, theres a scene where two little girls, of ages 8 or younger, were completely naked, as well as there dad, as they were having their bath time. Now of course everything was covered, but it was very clear that two little girls were quite naked with an older man. My parents never seen that movie, but they bust into my room for reasons I can't remember, and the first thing they see is that. A man in a tub, with his junk being covered by two naked little girls in the foreground, and other such things.

I was like O_O!! OF COURSE ITS AT THIS POINT IN THE MOVIE THEY BOTH COME IN! So they asked me "Why are you watching naked people?" and all I said was...."Its a Disney movie" >___>. And then they left.

The lesson here is, that if your ever watching a movie, and a scene comes on that would look bad if someone caught you watching it, the chances are that someone will bust into the scene at that exact time and catch you.

xD Brilliant.

@FuzzlePup: I had a similar experience. My boyfriend and I were snuggled up on my bed and we were watching DearS.

Who better than my Father to walk in when there's something seemingly wrong going on. Well, he ended up watching the entire scene with us, while we explained what was going on.

Thankfully, he understands. I'ma see if I can drag him to a convention xD
Oh, and thankfully, he understands my love for anime.

....unlike my Mother... I'm so glad it wasn't her who walked in.

I have all too many embarrassing moments in my life to account for. I atone for them every day my dyslexic mind goes back and reminds me, so I feel ashamed for them at a steady constant. -_-;;

Well, here I am in judo class. We were practicing throws and grabs, and my instructor, Vugar, asked me to help him with a demonstration. Why, I don't know, but he chose me. He told me to try my best to get a grab on him (one on the scruff of the neck, the other on the opposite forearm). He was going to show us a new throw, Kenjousuto or something like that.

Of course, Vugar, who got his black belt in Soviet Russia, is a 250lb tank. This guy could eat me if he wanted. The only thing I have on him is just a tiny, and I mean tiny, bit of speed. So we start, and he tries to grab me with his right arm. I see it, and manage to get inside his guard, with my left arm grabbing his right elbow and my right arm on his scruff. Not too bad, I though.

Next thing I know, the mat is above my head, and I'm sailing through the air. I land about 6 feet away and slam -- hard, onto the mat. It knocked the wind out of me, and I could just hear Vugar yelling, "You should have slapped! Do you want to break your arm!?".

Took me about 30 seconds just to stand up. That when I know why he wanted a small guy-- he just wanted to throw somebody.

Hmm... I'd have to say the most embarrassing thing I've ever done was spell teeth 'theeth' at some spelling bee when I was in third grade. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't spelled it that way three times, hah. Was waaaay too nervous to realize I was adding that extra h. I wouldn't say it's a phobia, but I hate being on-stage in front of two or three hundred people... I still get [censored] for that from my brother and cousin. x.x

far too many to count from my awkward social graces and the fact I might be a little bit insane. But One time I was talking to myself and my teacher called on me and i kinda kept going and going on about random things whispering and carrying on... I was sent to see my principal who called my parents and set me up with a shrink that same day. turns out i was also in the school paper.

I love being on stage, The band I'm in and I usually only have a crowd of 50-150 though :(.

Which brings me to a pretty bad stage moment. We were in between songs and taking a break, so I think to myself "hehe, I'll go show off in front of everyone with a bit of improv". Now the first thing I do is walk out on stage without the guitar plugged in, so for about 5 seconds I'm standing up there looking like an idiot. So then I go to plug my guitar in, but I turned the amp on first before plugging it in so I got violent amounts of feedback.

And then I completely blew the improv set.

Eh worst I've had was tripping during a Color Guard performance back in high school and dropping my rifle in front of a bunch of new cadets I was helping to instruct...I wouldn't have cared as much if I wasn't trying to set an example, but yeah wasn't too thrilled at the time but lookin back accidents happen no matter how many times you've done the stuff. That's all that really stands out in my mind.

My greatest moment:
Shouting "I AM NOT UNCOORDINATED!", turning around and walking into a wall.
