" AI 7177, did we lose them? This place does not look like their empire, nor in their borders." john said as he looked around outside.

"scanning" a large metallic sound from the ship. "this is not their borders but the fleet are here. But you might suggest destroying their fleet... NOW."

" Hold up, we don’t even know exactly where are. This planet looks perfect for our empire, don’t you think?"

"well, sir, it is the thing we need for our empire. Without the planet, the words United Galaxy wouldn’t even be known."

"wait what do you mean? The planet is just one simple, yet perfect, world; it isn’t like its earth or something..." he then looked at his ship and questioned, "is it."

"well in technological term it isn’t really earth that we know, however it is earth 1300 AD in the past."

"dear lord..." he paused, thinking what he should do next, he then looked back at the ship and demanded, "Get me Corporal Gary…NOW!"

Rick walked into the cockpit, noticing none of the other pilots were in the same area. He took out a cigarette and lit it,"Hey computer, do you think you could do a status check on the ship? I think there was a little bit of turbulence on our way in."

A message came from all 13 ships. "All pilots, this is your admiral speaking, prepare for immediate take off. We are looking for the enemy fleet, get in the fighters and prepare to scout the area. Remember fly high, higher then any monster can fly. Higher then any person can see when looking up. If you find the enemy, send the following signal" the admiral made 3 light and high robotic noises. "So that everyone will come back. If you found the enemy come back to base and meet me in my office with Corporal Gary. Tell us where the enemy is and you will receive a promotion!"

Telinus was traveling alone on his steed, Shadechaser, on the southern road through the plains when he saw what appeared, to any normal person of the timeframe, hell coming through the sky. Great fireballs larger than any he had seen since before he himself came to this planet 23 years ago.

"Has someone else discovered this backwater planet?" he said to himself, knowing a steed of this timeframe wasn't anywhere near enough to understand the english language, and he got off Shadowchaser, watching as the ships landed.

"If they're here to disrupt this planet's peace..... I'll have to try to stop them."

He tied Shadowchaser to a nearby tree and set him up with a bag of feed, thinking it too dangerous for a horse, drew his sword and began walking toward the landed UG ships.

Another announcement came from the plateau, Gregory preached out to his territory with pride, "We have built our base, improved our weapons, it is now time to conquer Earth once and for all. Those along the faith will become gods. All of you have my blessing from the gods."

John looked at an old map of earth. He then went to his battle board, that looks sort of like the board game risk, only its has regions on it. He then announced again, "I need land scouts on the double; we need to know our landscape like the back of our hands people. We also need to know if there is a town near by. I don’t want to here any complaints." he then sat back down on his chair and looked at his medals. From first to last he saw it all. Even if we do beat the covenant here, how will we get back to our own time period? The only way we can get home is by luck, even if earth makes a geo wormhole, there no way to know what time base we are in. he then drank some of his coffee to buy the time.

Cresting a hill, Telinus saw an uninhibited view of the UG fleet. He imediately noted the weapon systems. Advanced by far. If these were hostiles, his current armaments were of no use. He'd have to snatch some from them and use them. He grimaced. These ships looked to be even more advanced than that of his home planet. He did not recognize the design.


((being actually born of this time period, just on a different planet, he would not know what the UG is.))

Following the runner, Gary paused breifly in front of the Admiral's ready room. Flipping down the visor of his NITE suit, he hefted his DC-19 in his left hand. Waling in he stopped off to the side and saluted, "Tactical Specialist Corporal Gary 'Blue62' Williams reporting for duty admiral. My men and I are ready to head planetside on your word, Sir."

The scouts began to search around the area near the base, to hopefully, find a town nearby. Some scouts armed with tranquilizers, other armed with bullets and lethal lasers. While the scouts were going out and search, the other units were mining out to make an underground base, incase of aerial assault from the covenant. Others made the frigates underground, while the rest were trying to get the main ships buried. Other units started to put an aircraft carrier into a valley hill in order to make a stealthy air base.

On the plateau, at the bottom of the covenant base, a large drill started to appear from the ground like a mole with a digging addiction. Then the covenant started to build a gate there for safe and easy vehicle transport.

Telinus surveyed the scouts, and thought that since they were armed they hadn't come to earth for a picnic. Transforming to look like them, now that he knew what they looked like, was pointless. He could not shift his armor to look like their uniforms, his powers were restricted to his body alone. So, sword in hand, he walked readily up to the nearest scout, ready should combat break out. He hailed them, but his language had dwindled to something very similar to the real natives, since he had been living here for 23 years and had heard nothing but.

"Forsooth! Who art thou?" he said toward the scout.

"Good corporal, we are about to burry our fleet underground so that locals wont notice us. We have confirmed reports that the Covenant are here, however we do not know where they are, so I sent a flight scouting party to find them. Once our part of the fleet is buried, land your ships on the ground and burry it. Our weapons have survived the crash, so we have to assume that the covenant’s weapons are still online, we can’t risk one ship being damage. Once your fleet is on the ground prepare to come to my meeting room. And bring the other ship masters to, we need a discussion."

One of the scouts noticed the man and was bewildered of what he heard; he then looked at the other scout and asks what the statement meant.
"It is old English, but I don’t know most of the words of old English." the second scout answered, "I didn’t get the first part but that last part was a little clear, I think he said who are you."
The first scout answered back to the man, “We are the united Galaxy's military units, we come in peace, do you know where the nearest town is, so that we can get a map of the landscape?" he asked slowly, to hope that the man understood.

"United.... Galaxy? Ye be outworlders?" Telinus asked, blinking. He had never heard of them, as he had thought he wouldn't. He shook his head. That wasn't important now. He held his sword aloft in a clear display of distrust.

"Be thee friend or foe? Forsake thy treachery and answer me honestly, or thou shalt have mine blade to answer to." Telinus asked. If they were looking for a town and landscape, they could well be looking for a place to take over first.

the first scout looked at the second scout, the second scout shook his head and said to him" even you should of known what he said." the first scout argued with the second scout, “Well I am sorry I don't know only English." the second scout gestured at him saying, “He said it pretty clear, are you friend or an enemy, answer truthfully or feel my blade up your..." the first scout interruptedly and said," ok, ok I got it." he then turned to the man and said, "The United Galaxy is a friend to every planet that doesn't want to harm the empire! So please put down the weapon and please tell us where the nearest town is."

(Oh what the heck.)

Rick looked around the cockpit wildly and jumped on his feet after hearing the announcement and throwing his cigarette into an ashtray jutting out of a wall,"Oh crap! Where are the other pilots?"He jumped over a control panel, falling into a chair and quickly sat himself up ramrod straight and pushed a bunch of buttons nad pulled some levers and the fighter began to slowly lift up. He grabbed the intercom for the ship he was in,"Other pilots, please come into the cockpit for flying now. Thank you."

"Empire? There be yet no Empire, the heavens are isolated, this planet secret. Hast thou come to alter that?" Telinus said, his voice implying a hint of danger and he tilted his head downward a bit as he said this, keeping sight of the scouts still. He wasn't sure if the people of this planet were ready to bow down to an emperor they've never heard of. If anyone had known their history of earth, however, they would know that anyone from this time period wouldn't know of other planets, and that this particular native didn't sound particularly normal.
