On December 28th, 1996, Butch and I tied the knot in a very simple ceremony at a friend's house. Fireworks were supplied by my mother, who wasn't happy she'd been left out of the ceremony. (c'mon, I was 22 for pete's sake...)
After such a trial by fire, all other travails have paled in comparison. I love him more today than I did then, and for some odd reason, he still thinks I'm the reason the sun rises.
Go figure.

Late congratulations, Wynni! Beating out a decade sounds like a pretty good start to a long marriage. :)

Any advice to us young 'uns who might be beginning their big union? (Not that I'm in any position for that :(, but I can keep notes for a long time if need be. ;) Besides, somebody on here's bound to be going to get married soon, so I'll ask on the behalf of whoever that could be.)
