Japanese Prank
No one ever said the Japanese weren't funny... And if they did, than I hope this helps.
WARNING: Nude [sort of] scenes. Censored, of course.

Small question: Is this legal in your country?

Man, they could never get away with that here in America.

Rocket chair...awesome.

Nope, you'd lose your license and get your life sued out of you in America.

This video never gets old. :)

Anyway, I somehow doubt this is actually legal anywhere. I mean, they are being thrown out naked into the snow and that rocket chair can't be exactly safe.

This is something you'd probably not get away with over here but who knows though. The "victims" are probably offered a large amount of money afterwards.

Eh, probably in some places in the US you could get away with it...but then, there's always the chance of that one bumwipe messing all the fun up.

and we aren't sure how they fared after this little endeavor over there, are we?

The first guy managed to ride the chair (so we assume) down the whole mountain. All I could think of was some Japanese James Bond.

Well, they managed to continue with at least one other prank, so I guess they weren't shut down immediately.

Geez xD Guess I can say quite certain that this isn't allowed here in Austria nor in Germany either. But damn, I loved that guy who actually managed to held on the chair and didn't fall out XD Not to mention the rocket chair ^.^
Though I'm not quite sure how I'd feel about the whole thing if that actually happened to me ^^''

I'm surprised someone said no. Even if I found myself naked flying down a mountain on a rocketchair as the punchline of a joke like that, I'd still be laughing. A naked laughing white guy flying down a mountain in Japan. I want to go there already.

Eh, I know a few people that would watch this and just kinda shrug. Some folks just don't get a kick out of this type of humor.

As for me, I laughed hard when I first saw this clip, and still chuckled this time around.

I was the one who voted "no." I look at this sort of thing from a business perspective.

These people obviously paid a lot of money to go to this spa, and all they got was an awful experience, of which they'll probably never return to the spa. They'll also tell people that it wasn't a good experience, and the spa will lose a lot of money.

I'm not sure who rigged this, but if the spa itself did, maybe they deserve not to get any more business.

Erm, not that I've watched it the past week or so, but I don't recall any of the faces they showed as being horrified or angry. I'm pretty sure that the spa recompensed them handsomely for their experience. Hmm, would I rocket down the side of a mountain naked for a week of pampering? Dunno, but then, I don't think nekkieness has the same connotations over there.

I believe the whole building was built and/or rigged by the show, who has done numerous contraptions involving hydraulic porta-loos that lift you into the air while in use. I'm also not so sure it's a spa, rather than just a simple room with massage chairs in it. Someone who was really traumatized or greedy might decide to sue, but I guess the producers would be expecting that.

--edit--
Yup, according to this video, they built the massage rooms themselves.
