(OOC: I'm going to try and run this as a GM sort of person so we'll see how that goes.)

The lot of you are sitting in a briefing room, and not one of the modern ones. This one has blank concrete walls, a heavy metal door, stiff wooden seats. Not particularly classy. The table in the middle of the room is old and has the etchings of thousands of bored operatives on it.

The door swings open and the briefing officer enters. An older man limps in, his face is scarred and he is missing his right eye. Nevertheless his other is cold and hard, focused like a laser as it sweeps around the room. The robes of a monk swirl in the temporary breeze created by the door shutting.

He sits down slowly, easing himself into a chair. He draws a manilla folder, thick with paper out from a brief case he had been carrying. He opens it up and scans the sheets quickly.

He speaks slowly and deliberately, "You" he says, pointing at each member in turn, "are Aldred Caebor, human. You are the new squad leader for this team. Lars Mansille, vampire. Demolition and Hacking expert. I trust your illegalalites will be kept to a minimum. Nikolaos Blitz, werewolf. Soldier of fortune. Jack Hellsing, werewolf. Contracted independant agent. Steve Red, werewolf. New field agent."

Glaring at the new team with his one eye he continues, "You are Team 83. You have been pulled from your prior duty stations or contracted by the Government Threat Disposal Unit. All events you take part in are to be consider Classified, Code Magenta. As you should be aware, revealing this information without good cause is punishable by death."

He paused for a moment to let that sink in. "Now, Team 83 you have been assigned to immediate field duty. Here in Sector 32," he unfolds a large map and points to a grid, "a weretribe was sighted. This particular tribe has been warned several times and has yet to comply with our requests." The man shifted in the seat, "You need to get them comply with the normal procedures, or eliminate them. Either way they need to disappear."

"Do not have any problems silencing them. This group is more or less petty thugs. THe GTDU would prefer it if they simply hid themselves better, but we understand if that is not possible." He pushed several papers forward. "This is the pack leader, Dominov. A big brute, he still is rather intelligent. If you can break him, the others will likely agree to whatever you say. Or they'll fly into a rage and try to kill you."

There were a total of seven weres in the group, Dominov the werewolf leader, three other werewolves, a werebear, and two weretigers. They were situated in a back alley near the burned out Cryosof factory.

"Any questions?" the man asked, his tone indicating that if there were, they had damned wll better be asked.

"Yeah, I got a question, why the bloody 'ell are we still here? I was hired to kill the damn monsters, not sittin 'round waitin for some ol' codger." He exhales sharply, legs crossed and resting on the table while leaning back in his chair.

with his back against the wall, he comes out of the shadows. "..." he wanted to say something but he couldn't. he then writes out on a paper he found and what was writen on the paper was shown to the man with the one eye. it reads; "how much are we going to get paid?"

Aldred stared silently at the the team surrounding him. Were's and Vamps, all of them. That might pose a problem if a daylight raid were required. It was a pity few of the higher ups understood that, no matter how heroic an image it portrayed, an attack during the day almost always yielded better results then the famous night attack.

Yeah, I got a question, why the bloody 'ell are we still here? I was hired to kill the [censored] monsters, not sittin 'round waitin for some ol' codger.

Brash for even a Werewolf. Worse, from the looks of it, he was likely no older then his military career. Smug little creatures, they tended to be. Not that it had stopped him from planting .44 inches of lead through at least three heads before.

"Because, unlike most organizations, we do not jump on into a fight all willy-nilly." Stated Aldred, turning to look at the Were. Useful tools and weapons, yes, though not always the most reliable once the scent of blood filled the air. "Last time that happened, three more teams needed to be called in to deal with a group possessing more numbers than we expected. Five men died, with seven more injured, and it took weeks to cover up the press, respond to complaints from nearby clans, and replace the lost ammunition and weapons. Need I go on for the consequences for uneducated strikes and mission blunders?"

At this point, Aldred turned to the mission briefer. "I take it you've prepared a pre-mission report to read on the way there? Information on the members, expected weapon types, weak links, etcetera? Are we likely to be walking into a trap? How likely are they to negotiate with us?"

"No, yeh don't. I've seen what 'appens to dumb wankers who jump the gun. I'm sayin that being there an' examining the god forsaken beasts does a helluva lot better than any mission reports. Mah family 'as been huntin the fell beasts that pray on humans fer fun fer years, an' I'm not 'bout to let any more fall pray ta these [censored] whilst we sit 'ere arguing. Tch, Shoulda stayed freelance, woulda done a helluva lot better." He grunts and stretches. "An' one more thing, don't take meh fer a fool, I'm jus' not prone ta sit an' chat whilst these beasts are prayin on the humans."

The briefer sneered slightly ans spoke quietly, mostly to himself. "Damn mercenaries..." Then Aldred more or less tore them apart. He smiled a little, seemingly pleased by the response. However the Helsing character continued speaking, claiming hehad better things to do than waiting around here.

He slammed his fist down on the table. The loud noise echoed off the bare walls. "You will be paid the normal rates. There is no other payment." He turned to Hellsing. "What the team leader said is true. Blasting the way in might be simple, but causes problems. We can't afford that now. A pre-mission folder has been established. It has more information, but most of it is useless. Simple descriptions of the tribe members. This isn't likely trap, but that isn't confirmed. The last time we sent in an operative he had to break cover and escape the hard way."

He went on, "a true threat analysis hasn't been conducted. Not my decision, but the intelligence types are busy elsewhere. If they don't shift for then, they will probably use cheap black market automatics and other gang type weapons."

The briefer frowned now and was deadly serious, "the odds of succesful negotion are slim. Personally, I want you to deal with them quickly and lethally as possible, what's a few more dead gang members? But the PR people want this clean so they can take it to the Government and say 'look at how nice we are, give us money'. If the choice is between potential injuries or peace... kill them."

Nikolaos wrote down as fast as he could. trying to catch up with everyone. he wrote," and they were MEN, must of us are weres, and a vampire that is an expert at demolishion and hacking, both of which has the power to heal and regenerate. and our leader is a man who will most likly be lunch for our enemy."

he then wrote down turning to the mission brifer. he writes down," we understand, we kill them, hide the body, skin them, dress men up as weres, get the money from the government, take the were skin and dump it somewhere and we are all happy. they will not know the difference." he then smiled, but can be hardly seen with his neckcollor up.
again somehow finding pieces of paper, he wrtoe down, yet again;
"ok but seruisly, why send us for pusading them to stop? Is anyone here good at pusading a werewolf gang leader into leaving this place? We are proffesionals at killing not proffesionals at at writing a pusasive argument."

The odds of successful negotiation are slim. Personally, I want you to deal with them quickly and lethally as soon as possible.

So, they were to kill them anyways to save time. Not bother with the negotiations. Pity, that would make the job harder.

And they were MEN, most of us are Weres, and a Vampire that is an expert at demolition and hacking, both of which have the power to heal and regenerate. And our leader is a man who will most likely be lunch for our enemy.

Goodness sake, did he have to get the most cocky group? And Mercenaries, for that matter. About as likely to stick around as to leave when they've done their 'fill' of the work. Hopefully the Vampire and other Were would be more tolerable in this mission.

"Do not underestimate the power of man." Aldred said, facing towards the Were. "While we may be inferior in our physical abilites, we have been capable of dealing with things that bump in the night since a time when a sharp stick was considered the boon of technology. Besides," At this, Aldred allowed a rare smile to cross his face, "Last time a Mutt tried to maul me, he instead got a mouth full of seven inches of steel. I'll manage."

Of course, then the Were had to write again, this time commenting on why bother Negotiating. Did anything that didn't revolve around a quick buck even bother to them? Would they switch sides at the first offer from the enemy?

Aldred just sighed to himself while wondering why the GTDU even bothered with Merc's.

Steve listnens to the others talk about their thoughts and complaints on the matter silently from his seat. He didnt have anything to add, so just looked over the intel again. It seemed like something from the movies, werewolves, vampires, secret goverment groups of mercinaries...

And now he was infected too. Didn't bother him much, just made him that much better. Super fast healing, increased speed, and more strength is always good.

The group was guna be interesting. So many mercs, means that many more people to watch. Plus didn't seem all that competent.

He leans back in his chair and puts his hands behind his head. Atleast he would be bored.

"Grah!" He slams the table, cracking it slightly, and stands up. "Stop with the fightin'. Tha' breaks up a team more easily than a cluster bomb. I am not in dis fer money, I am in dis ta keep people safe. Tha's why I can't jus' sit 'ere. Every moment we sit 'ere gives them more time ta kill people. Were, Vamp, Human, it doesn't matter, we all 'ave the same goal: Ta get rid o' the scum who pray on the humans fer fun. And the next one ta start fightn' is getting a kiss from mah swords." He sits back down, hand on the hilt of one of his katanas.

After Hellsing's outburst the briefer stood up. He had a sort of crooked smile, one that didn't have an ounce of mirth. "Good. Now get your gear and go. There is a SUV upstairs for all of you to enter the target area. You will likely have to move in on foot. Do not underestimate this group. I will not have any deaths." He sat back waiting for them to leave the room.

((=P Nice title, didn't realize it till I saw the topic creator))

Lars chuckled at all that has took place, he felt like keeping his mouth shut the whole time. Being the first one out, he went to his locker, putting his jacket inside, he took out his infiltration suit. It was nice, sleek and simple, nothing flashy or heroic about it, the perfect way to blend in. He changed into it, and strapped on his Commando, with two clips with silencers. He reached into his locker and had a small little jolt from touching a part of his stun prod.

Note to self, even when it is not on, stun side is still electric

He then opened his satchel in his locker and put his pocket pc, some disposable lock picks, some minor explosives and one pack of C4. Just in case. Kissing his fingers and resting them on a picture of his family he closed his locker and started walking to the SUV then got lost in thought.

Could I end up having to kill one of my own friends? That wouldn't be very good. Remember Lars, it's nothing personal, it's just business.

Immediately behind Lars was Aldred. Reaching his locker, the first thing he did was reach down towards his boots... and immediately pull out his Astra 200. Even inside a GTDU building, carrying a weapon around with you at all times would never be a poor choice. Slipping it into the locker, he quickly changed into his Dragonscale Armor before slipping his regular clothes back on.

Took a while to obtain it, longer to obtain permission. Still, armor was armor, and anything was better then running around in a thick jacket and hoping to not be hit. After such, he retrieved his main sidearm from the locker along with the holster. .44 Magnum. Good times to be had there. Even if it wasn't a one-hit kill on the beasties center-mass, not much would still be on their feet after the first shot, let alone running foward.

Next, he slipped out some of his ammunition pouches, magnum rounds, etc. Three pre-loaded in the Magnum, six to the pouches and individual round holders. If he didn't have the time to reload after three shots, odds were he would be either dead anyways, or have his weapon in anothers grip.

Slamming shut the locker, he made his way toward the armoury. He'd never leave his Uzi inside his locker, it'd leave him too reliant on reaching the locker for his main firepower. If the others got impatient waiting for him to arm, so be it. At least he wouldn't be up the creek without a paddle if the main storage area was ever captured (god forbid).

Blitz(just wanting to call him that, sounds a little better then saying Nikolaos all the time), reached to his lockers. He looked on his note, since he forgets which locker and locker combination, and opend his first locker, his appereal locker, grabbed his greencoat, andclosed the locker. he went to his second locker which were filled with 9 mm Mauser Export with silver tippings melted from blessed holy cross's, he carefully loaded both of his Mauser C96 and grabbed 12 more Mauser Export's and put it around his belt.

load, shoot, fast reload. I am not sure if we need them, but, since I am working in a group and there are multiple enemies, i might get the chanse to use these.

he then came to his final locker, he opened it and prayed to his family tribe's shrine which was the last family heirloom. After he prayed, he went to the SUV.

Steve looks around at the lockers and notices one with his name on it. Lockless, he opens it up and find it full of equipment.

Oooh, ts like Christmas all over again

He puts his dress uniform away and dons the ACU provided, followed by a dragon skin armor vest, and combat boots. He also attaches night vision goggles to his helmet.

In the Armory, he notices they have the standard m4 carbine with xm26 shotgun attachment. He puts a laser sight and inferred scope on it and and takes out the clip.

A closer look at the ammo shows its silver tipped. He takes one round out by the casing and lightly touches the tip of it, getting a burning sensation on his finger. He pulls away after a second and reloads the weapon.

Oww, well, this should work alot better then last time...

Few little things like combat knife, some extra ammo, and med kit are packed onto his vest.

He puts some other equipment in his locker like an xm230 nade launcher, a MOLLE, thermo goggles, reinforcing armor plates, etc for later.

They spare no expense, should atleast make use of it.

He heads to the SUV when finished.

A blackhawk or Humvee shock and aww insertion seems like a much more effective move then covert civilian transport...
