I've never RPed in a forum with separate IC and OOC threads, so forgive me if I do anything wrong here.


Plot
The characters paricipating in this plot all wake up in a crater, somewhere in a forest drenched by a storm passing above the trees. Next to them is a skeleton sitting up in the crater, with a black book in its hands... They do not know what it is; they do not know anything... Because all of them are stricken by amnesia. They'll have to find out the secret of the book to recover their memories, and find out what happened to them (come to think of that, those goals are pretty much the same thing. :p).

Rules
You may not control other people's characters. You may not use instant death abilities or attacks. You may not use over-powered characters (like demon lords, archangels, and the like.) You may not use technolgy beyond what existed in medieval times.


The Setting
The world this is set in has technoloy equivalent to during the medieval times- no guns. There is one continent, about the size of Australia, surrounded by oceans. The land is very mountainous, and rather cold. Many pine forests cover the mountains, and the lack of edible in the land have left the intelligent races of the plant mainly carnivorous. Keidrans and humans alike live in this land, as well as animals of many kinds. There are two main cities: one in the north, and one in the south. Keidrans and humans alike live in peace together, and many interracial couples exist, and many half-breed children result from this.

My own Character:

Species: Tiger Keidran
Age: 9
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Appearance: White fur with black stripes. Green eyes. 5’8” 130 lbs
Personality: Easily frustrated. Caring, but suspicious of most people. Has a tendency to help people and then walk away before they can say thank you. Fiery temper. Hates to wait for things.
Weapons: Katana made of mithral.
Possessions: Light chainmail made of mithral- with gauntlets that lock weapons in place to prevent disarming, basic supplies.

Uhm, I wouldn't mind joining. If that is OK of course. I don't have a character right now so I guess I'll make one for this RP, or something.

It sounds interesting, but a little vague. I'd like more info if and when you have it. :)

If you mean info about the plot, then nay. That wouldn't be very realistic, since your characters have had their minds turned to jelly. :P

Appearance:5'11-6'0(?) 205 lbs(toned) Vivid Orange/Red or Gold colored eyes typical colored fur of a jaguar, though the tips of the fur on his head is black. Short, black/brown braided hair(stops at the shoulder give or take)

Personality: Mischevious, and somewhat sarcastic. Very outspoken when spoken too and has knack for seeming rather unforgiving toward other people. Not shy or precautious but jumps into things with wreckless abandon. A kitten at heart he has feelings for those less fortunate than he. Very curious and a problem solver(when he's not causing them.) Even tempered unless provoked, he's always up for a good scuffle or argment to make his day. Loves to annoy people who are easily annoyed.

Weapons:Twin short swords, 6 throwing daggers, and his own body

Possessions:Armoured Thigh guards and a guards the protects the top of the foot and chin. 8 boxed capsuals that hold his daggers and anything else he can think of putting there. padded palmed gloves and a rock/shell laced necklace with a cross charm laced to the front.

Bio: With a rather "Get it done." Attitude he seem to be always in the front of any line. A competitive Keidren he seems to like Physical contests and training. Stumbling into a unknown region everything that was dear to him seems to be lost though he's oblivious that anything changed at all unless he is questioned. His personality is a constant and rare to change.Not knowing anything about himself or his past he must uncover this with or without the aids of other. Either one suiting him just fine.

Race: Half-human half-Kashokan.

He also has a a crest of a winged shield on his left hand.
Personality: Usually quite kind and forgiving... to people he knows. However, calling him Mutt will get you into a world of pain.

Bio: Savoc is a World-traveler. That's how he ended up here. As soon as he woke up, he noticed most, if not all, of his solar powers had been taken from him. After that, he checked his body.. he still had his sword on his back, a powerful one that uses the essence of the sun's power. After he got up, and looked around, he found himself to be in Keidran territory. Of course, he was attacked for being 'Human'. However, he was a Kashokan... Which were half-animals. He, being a half-bred Kashokan, had the instincts, and some other traits, of an animal... a dog. His nails can become claws, and his canine teeth become fangs, as his eyes turn blood red. His instincts took full control, and his bestial powers kicked in, and he killed them in self-defense. After that, he decided to try and get the hell outta there, before being attacked again.

Possessions: A Hand and a half Sword, with a crimson red Gaurd and grip, but the grip is wrapped in a tan-colored cloth, which has a lot extra that hangs off and blows in the wind. It also has a red gem called the 'Sun's Eye' that is the end of the guard, and the start of the unbreakable blade. only Savoc can lift it, due to a curse placed on the sword. His clothing, and a silver shield shaped necklace that he wears at all times.

Magical abilities: If any still remain, they are solar-attributed.

Strengths: Has unusual physical strength for a child of his age. As well as his instincts, and his swordsmanship.

Weaknesses: Can be short-tempered. The fact that he's a half-breed get's him tons of insults, discrimination, and such. The name he hates most is 'Mutt'. On the night of the full moon, two things can happen:
His Animal side will go on a rampage, illing and slaughtering anything in his path
Or He loses all his powers... usually the later.

Other: Also called the Daybreaker, the most powerful of a set of beings called 'Solar Knights', however, he isn't that powerful in the ways of Solar magic in this world.
His clothing is made of a metal thread. it works like armor, although not as effectively.

Appearance: looks a little like my avatar, but with fur patterns a little more like tails prower. He is, of course, taller, wearing a green-stained tunic and brown breeches

Personality: Vincent is perhaps a little too thoughtful for the middle ages, and was always considered an "odd duck". He considered this itself to be odd, as he was more of a pup at the time than a duck.

Weapons: He uses a variety of staves and the like.

Possessions: squire

Bio: he woke up in a crater.

Sweet... At first I was afraid that no one would want to join this Rp.

I semi-edited the bio, thought I could do that before the RP started, but oh well. Made him younger and changed his job to "squire".

I was wondering if I might be able to join, even though the RP is already in progress. I promise that I've read the whole story so far, and if you let me, I'm sure I can find an unobtrusive way to introduce my character.

I've already got a character ready, just in case.

Species: Half-Kemhuri (a half-Kemhuri is essentially a keidran with a roughly human lifespan/growth-rate)

Very similar to an arctic fox; Short, white fur; About 5'10". The backs of both hir hands as well as hir middle and ring fingers are black-furred. Shi has three thin, black marks across the bridge of hir nose. Sable has blue-gray eyes, but this can change frequently according to a number of factors. Sable appears very, very androgynous, making it impossible to tell hir gender.

Weapons: Small Nagadao (Polearm with a spear/poleaxe on one end of the handle, and a broadsword on the other. Note: it's small compared to other Nagadao, but it's still about two metres [~6.5 ft.] long). Bladed gauntlet (Left arm only; Light metal gauntlet, two slightly-curved blades extending from the bottom)

Possessions: Aforementioned weapons, brown, hoodless cloak (with scarf), several belts.

Abilities: Sable has minor shape-shifting abilities, making hir perfectly suited for assassination tasks. These abilities allow hir to change between a pure human, a half-Kemhuri, or a full Kemhuri, as well as making major aesthetic changes to any of hir forms. Despite any changes, Sable always retains the black markings across hir nose, and on hir hands. When Sable changes hir form significantly, the change will heal hir wounds, but this drains a significant amount of energy, meaning that changing or healing while fighting is generally a bad idea, causing hir to tire extremely quickly. Over the several years of almost constant changes, Sable has forgotten what shi originally looked like, and so now, shi assumes a strange, genderless form as her natural form, but often changes hir body for specific tasks. Sable has developed a secondary personality that shi uses to relieve the stress of the shapeshifting on hir natural personality. This personality rarely surfaces, but when it does, hir natural personality goes into remission while it recovers and the new personality has complete control.

Personalities:
Sable ( Half-Kemhuri) Usually very quiet and when shi does talk, it's almost always in a broken manner, with pauses in the middle of sentences (not in the middle of words though). When fighting a difficult opponent, Sable becomes hysterical, laughing wildly, oblivious to hir surroundings. When frustrated, aggravated, or otherwise distraught, shi refuses to speak at all and often walks away from the source of the problem without a word. This personality is nearly always in control of hir body.

Fao (Male Urai Kemhuri) Fao is much stronger than Sable and is a superior fighter, but he has only a small store of energy, which is made smaller when he emerges, since he only does so when Sable is gravely injured, and a great deal of his energy is used up in the change to his own form. Unlike Sable, Fao is unable to change forms and will thus always appear the same when he emerges. Fao is very misanthropic, and misses no opportunity to attack humans (verbally and physically). He speaks with a sharp rasp, making him difficult to understand on occasion.
Fao is about 8'-9' tall standing upright. He has long, white fur with dark red on his back, shoulders, and hips (all connected). Fao has golden eyes and lacks the black markings on his nose and hands that Sable always has. http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd52 ... o_01RS.jpg

Important Notes:
-When Sable changes forms, hir wounds heal, but the more injured shi is, the more energy is required to change.
-Fao is a completely separate personality, and often converses with Sable. This is one of the reasons Sable speaks little to others.
-Fao and Sable cannot share their energy with each other, and when either allows the other to take control, the energy required for the change is taken from whichever of the two is currently strongest
-When Fao emerges, their body automatically assumes his form, and he is not able to change forms like Sable is.
-Sable will always have black markings on hir nose and hands, but Fao lacks these marks (If Sable were to assume a form identical to Fao's, shi would still have the black markings, even though Fao does not have them).
