[CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:] Floscan has pale skin, a tone almost that of dead skin. This contrasts greatly with his hair and clothing, which are all almost jet black, whilst his eyes are a dark shade of yellow. He stands as a giant, over 6 and a half feet tall (200cm/80in), while he always appears to be (Somewhat) gaunt. He has long black hair that goes down his back, almost reaching his hip (Around midway between his shoulder blades and his hip). Meanwhile, he wears only two things of clothing, a pair of long, Black pants, and a cloak made entirely of dark feathers. His feet are often kept bare, though occasionally shoed, and his lean frame is lined with some muscle. His incisors also appear more fang-like then a normal persons, though it is unknown whether this was as a result of the Experiment that made him, or done deliberately by himself.
[PERSONALITY/MAIN ALLIANCE:] His own agenda, so far as others know. He is purely interested in self gain. His personality is a cruel but intelligent one. He can turn from casual to savage in but a moment. He takes much delight in spreading terror, confusion, anxiety, and, while able to seem sophisticated, is commonly regarded as Savage when in combat or among those who know the true him.
[RACE:] Magical Construct/Experiment, Human Base
[BACKGROUND/HISTORY:] Floscan was, quite simply, a failed experiment. He was intended to be a test of what happens with a mix of mortal and dark magiks. As a result, when he was formed, he was in the form of someone nearly 20-or-so years old (A result of the body, which was a fresh cadaver). When he was made, he had a good deal of knowledge, most of it from his creators (Who 'mysteriously' were never found), the cadavers previous life, or of Dark things themselves. After an incident, he managed to break free, traveling without purpose, simply taking in knowledge and spreading terror.
Recently, Floscan has been able to ‘access’ the world of Shadow magiks that created him. Due to its surroundings, and a lack of a better word for it (In human tongue), he is known to refer to it as ‘Madness’. Though accessible to humans, Floscan believes it is detrimental to human health (In more then one way!).
This realm is in fact linked to most of the universe, and into quite a few multi-verses. Exploration through it is near infinite, as are the number of passageways to and from it that he has discovered. It can make travel near instant, however, as aging seems to be nonexistent there, and there are many ‘loopholes’ (Again, for a lack of better terms) that can make traveling from one section to the other near instantaneous. As such, Floscan is capable of exploring many worlds, in fact, universes, that others could only fantasize of (One universe, to Floscan’s particular disgust, was filled with, as he stated so poetically: “Too much cuddly things, too little stabbity things”).
Whilst in Madness, Floscan’s powers are only limited to what he can think, mainly due to his origins from there, yet also his sentience and creativity from living in the ‘real’ side of the universe. He can cover miles in seconds, raise citadels from grass, etc etc. However, due to the lack of anything sentient, anything particularly interesting (And, depending on how you use the term, anything living), Floscan tends to only stay in ‘Madness’ long enough to get from point A to point B (For every 10 minutes in Madness, roughly 1 minute (57 seconds) pass in real life. Add this to the fact of ‘quick’ world jumps, it makes it seem Floscan can near instantaneously travel worlds, if he can find the portals).
As stated earlier, however, the realm is detrimental to non-shadow beings attempting to enter the realm. For starters, many of the things in the realm disobey laws of physics, distort reality, break previously founded notions, etc. As such, Sanity is one of the first things in danger when entering the realm (Part of Floscan’s strange curiosity with the ‘real’ universe: It is so different then the Madness universe). Not only that, the realm seeps with Shadow magiks. Though not strong enough to be deadly to normal people, it can be quite… dreadful to most holy beings/figures (For example, say the holy being is wood. Assume they are in a nice, damp area. That is the ‘real’ universe. Now, say the wood is suddenly in a universe of Magma, and its sap is replaced with liquid mercury. That is what it’s like in ‘Madness’. Maybe not quite as deadly, though just as bad).
Finally, shadow beings exist in Madness, though are few and far between. For Floscan, this isn’t a worry as they can feel the Shadow magiks seeping off him. However, they are quite fond of searching out non-shadow beings for food, especially holier beings, tending to be weak enough to prey on once inside the Madness.
Anyways, back to his background, Floscan has used this realm to explore much more planets, much faster, and has thus gained new knowledge of the universe, seen many new life forms, planets, cultures, etc (Well, as many as one could see in roughly 20 years time (He has had access to Madness for 21 years, though for the first one he was ‘stuck’, not quite sure how to access portals).
[WEAPONS (OPTIONAL):] Floscan is simply armed with a small array of curved daggers, and a hand-and-a-half sword with a blade of roughly 3 feet (85cm/34in). The long sword is kept inside a hilt along his waist, while the knives and hooks are hidden among the many crevices of his cloak and pants. He is trained to them only to the specialization point (No ‘Supah Man!!!’ skill levels, just ‘Better then minimal training / no combat experience’). He, however, has an interesting set of skills. First off, he can take the 'form' of a shadow, or a shadow-like being / mist. He can stretch himself to cover a floor, be a single thick 'stream' of shadow, etc.
When in the shadow form, he can flow like water, levitate, and is impervious to most mundane weapons. He also is indistinguishable from a shadow, and can float at nearly a 30mph speed, though speed at a max of nearly 40mph. In return, however, he is severely hampered if in much light (Holy Light especially), and any magical, psychic, holy, etc attacks will hurt him like normal. Items on himself meld with him, though immediately upon breaking away they take form. As such, he has been known to occasional have feathers fall beneath him. Though he can attack in a shadow form, he tends not to for reasons unknown. If he does attack, though, it is of shadow attacks, making it useless against holy barricades, shadow beings, etc.
Floscan also has the ability to (partially) manipulate shadows around him. This is limited purely to concealment, though it can help to mislead his enemies. He also seems to have no sense of warm or cold (He has walked through knee-deep snow for days with similar clothing, and suffered no injury or pain. It is believed this is a result of the experiments that created him. He is, however, still susceptible to un-natural causes of heat and cold, along with extremes of each). This may have to do with his seeming ability to feel no pain, which may have to deal with the death of the nerves in the body he inhabits.
Floscan also has an above average regeneration. He can heal at nearly thrice the speed, so a wound that’d take a human 3 weeks to heal would only take him one. Why this doesn’t affect his nerves is unknown, and believed to have to deal with him having control over what does and doesn’t heal.
Floscan’s reaction time, speed, and perception seem peak/slightly inhuman, though not up to obscene levels. He also is stronger then he appears, though again, not to obscene levels.
Finally, Floscan seems to be able to bound great distances. Currently, he can leap nearly 5 meters either up or forward from stationary, to nearly 10 meters horizontally or 7 meters vertically with a lead jump.
[WEAKNESSES:] Again, Talthar is severely hampered by severe levels of light, more so then an average human. Though it has less effect whilst in human form, Shadow Form is near impossible in extremes.
He also is not a master of any skills (Compared to many multiverse characters).
