I was just kinda curious about what version of Halo 3 you guys are planning on picking up. Being the collector that I am, I'm picking up the Legendary Edition. I can't pass up on the Spartan helmet, heheh. I actually managed to trade in enough stuff at GameStop so that I only have to pay $18 when I go pick it up. :P

I never trade in games. You may get $8 for a game you bought for $50, so you have to trade in several games just to get one more. I just prefer to keep all my games.

But the reason I bought the Legendary edition (besides bragging rights) is basically because I'm a consumer whore. I love to have the new, big game. And if I can waste some money getting some extra stuff I'll never use, well thats fine by me. I highly doubt the helmet will ever become a collectible, but we might see it on eBay some day selling for a lot of money. All that aside, I like the casing.

And it really hurt dishing out that $120 for it. When I first pre-ordered it, it was only $100, so that was what I wanted to spend. I was just too lazy to cancel the order, so I went ahead and forked over another $20 for it. O well, it better be good.

Legendary Edition.

Why? Because when it comes to the Halo Universe, I am a self-confessed addict.

Plus how can I pass up that? That would just be silly.

Something tells me you're getting the Plasma Rifle laser-tag.

I am getting Legendary, just because Halo has been almost a religion over the past years.

That may be true, but these were games that I really never play anymore anyway, so they were just sittin' collecting dust. Plus GameStop is running a promotion where you get 20% more credit with trade-ins when put towards a Halo 3 pre-order. With the number of games I brought in, I got 10% extra on top of that, too. I'm glad it all worked out for me like that anyway, because there was no way I was gonna afford Halo 3 Legendary Edition as it was, so the trade-ins helped me out a lot.

I'm just waiting for the 1:1 scale Battle Rifle... >_>

if i had $120 it would already have been spent by now. so no legendary set for me.
