With the game coming out on the 21st, I just can't wait to get my hands on it. Despite starting my classes the next day, I still say, "screw education, I want to blow some stuff up".

This link is to an in-depth weapons/combat interview that tells about the literal hundreds (if not thousands) of ways for you to kill the enemies.

It looks really good, but I tend not to get 'hyped' over games any more (with one exception). I'll be sure to get it as soon as I ninja some cash off of... erm, my job.
Yeah, my job.
And who was the one who said it looked like a Halo knock off? It couldn't be any less Halo if it tried. 'Cept that they're both First-Person Shooters... shh!

Bioshock is awsome, i cant wait to get it. cant wait to freeze my enemy, then shotgun his frozen body, shattering him into little peices. or lighting the whole world on fire.

Its going to be great for a month, until Halo 3 come out

I played the demo and absolutely loved it. I have my copy reserverd.

So far BioShock is the 2nd highest rated game of all time. Currently a 98 at Metacritic.

For those who don't know, Metacritic averages the scores of numerous other review sites to get their score. It's still subject to change, but I could see it staying where it is.

Oh, and whoever voted the third option needs to research the game a bit more.

You can also go to www.gamerankings.com . It's the same idea.

i tend not to get excited about games unless i play a demo. just played the demo on the my 360, ive got to say that its pretty good. not to mention its hard to keep blood and vomit off my controller since my biggest fear/nightmare is being trapped in a city underwater. so yeah its coming out tommorow and i cant wait to get it.

/i dont have to go to school until the 26th so i got time to play it.
//unless those [censored] catch the rental version of the game before i do.
///how can anyone mistake this game for halo, it doesnt have to do with space or aliens at all.

Generally - and rather unfairly - most 'hyped' First-Person Shooters nowadays are either touted as 'the next Halo' or 'the Halo beater'; both Gears of War and Killzone 2 were, and still often are refered as such.

And hmm, I had the tasty option of buying Bioshock today a whole two days before it's official launch here in the UK. But did I?

No.

It was £42, I had £30. I bought Naruto and GTO mangas instead, for shame.

[censored], it is awsome! I am doing it on hard right off the bat, and i am currently on Hephaestus. killed all big daddy's so far, 4 without dieing. i am a super hacker, usually go stealth and head shot with pistol AP round, and am saving the little sisters.

It is so scary, i hate the damn spider and houdini splicers, always jumping out of nowhere. I predict to have it finished by the end of the week.

The creators of Bioshock can go to hell. Anyone heard about this SecuROM garbage? I was really looking forward to playing the game but if I do I'll be borrowing the 360 version from someone so 2k games won't be making any money off of me.

Just beat it on hard. what an awsome story, such a great plot twist, the action was amazing, and the last fight really was something else.

favorite weapon: wrench

favorite plasmid: chameleon

favorite OMG moment: to many to judge

Definitely worth my 50$

I didn't get a chance to play it yet. I went up to college the week before it came out, and never got a chance to pre-order it (Halo took all my money), and I'm still waiting for the next shipment. I really want to play this, but life keeps getting in the way...

I read about that Luca. My computer can't run the game anyway, but even if it could I wouldn't be buying it for the PC until I could get it without the
SecuROM crap.

Video games don't make me violent, [censored] DRM schemes do.

It's an anti-piracy feature. You can only install the game so many times before you have to call some number to get the game activated again. And, in order to play the game, you have to register the game to 2k games' website. So, pretty much, 2k games doesn't trust its customers.

got it the day it came out i was lucky and got the last copy. beat it two days after it came out on hard and now im trying to get the other ending you get when you harvest all the sisters instead of rescue. i dont do the fancy use the enviroment stuff unless im fighting big daddys. i like using the wrenches on most enemies and the shotgun on stronger enemies.
