i think that they are, just it is not gonna be a legal marriage ceremony.

I wonder if there's ever gonna be a ceremony :P I think the idea would activate conservatism on both sides of the species, Keidran and Human. That is if they tell the ones the know on both sides. Maybe they keep it secret. Who knows.

Hmm... come from sides that hate each other.... love each other... could get killed for this...

A duel is where two people fight... Like with swords 'n' stuff. I do hope you mean 'dual'... >.> Well, no, I don't. Though a 'duel suicide' sounds kinda impossible if you're dueling, it sounds fun. Ey, what if you were trying to protect the other person from commiting suicide, and the first one to die wins?!? Awesome. Duel suicide. I'll shut up now.

Maybe they'll end like romeo and juliet... that would suck tho :lol:

(just in case you don't know, romeo suicided because he thought juliet was dead, and then juliet suicide because romeo had suicided)

We've got a ways to go before that happens though...

Remember that the goal of this trek is Orchard Valley, where humans, keidran and basotin live together peacefully. They can probably get married there, and have a big party as part of the ceremony.

It probably won't be legal in the other lands. But similar things happen in our world, where we have a number of situations where a marriage in one jurisdiction isn't recognized in others. (Here in Massachusetts, a particular case of this has been making the news for about 3 years now. ;-)

We can expect that, after whatever disastrous events are to come in the basotin island, when they escape and reach Orchard Valley, we'll see a "welcome home" sequence, open knowledge of Flora's pregnancy, and (after Trace is finally convinced it's his kid), a joyous wedding.

And, of course, they won't live happily ever after. War is still brewing. Trace, Flora, Keith and even Natani are major killer types that you just know will be dragged into it. The future probably involves them regretfully departing the Valley to Save the World.

But the really big issue is when and how Keith and Natani will become a couple ... ;-)

(Or will Keith and Laura get together, leaving Natani forever heartbroken and unable to admit the reason to herself?)

Of curse they are and the real trouble will start after that.
Would be nice to see the four main charecters puched up in a corner, so that there "darker sides" will show.

Would be nice to have some violence back and not just cute things, but real violence and killing.

There are so many times when I am teaching english that I'm like "why aren't these kids laughing!?"

I believe that there will be a great uprising, where all three kingdoms (Human, Kiedran, and Bastion) must come together to fight the Templar, who is trying to recreate the old cliche' of taing over 'the world'.

The three races must combine into one (I. E., Trace, Flora, and Kieth) to fight the templar, and in the process Trace and Flora (and maybe even Kieth and Natani) get married. somehow...

i really don't have any idea whether they will get marred or not but one thing i know for sure is that if there is a ceremony, somthing WILL go wrong be it Templar, the Keidran clans, Jesus, or the masks. i would bet money on that (unless it happens after the war, then it will probably work)

hecks yes, probably anyway. and i dont think anyone getting in the way of the grand templars marriage, even though he's lost all his memory. and even though he isn't the grand templar anymore, still people kinda take it that way. well, thats just my opinion.

and another reason why i think so, is that flora will not live long. maybe another ten years or so, so once thinking about that he may concider it more. and he loves flora doesnt he? although sometimes hes a little skiddish when saying so :)
