Aight guys... i'm prolly askin the wrong crowd this question... but in a way i'm also asking the right crowd. Um... question is-> I'm looking for some soft celtic like music and i'd like to know some groups/songs that anyone might know about that they could direct me too. Now I'm not looking for just celtic... but somthing along the lines of that calmness. Think something like the intro theme for Xenosaga Ep. 2, or any sort of calm music in a video game (VG theme songs/music works too :D). Only reason why i gave XS2 intro as an example is cause i'm sitting here while it's playing on my tv. ^_^

I'm also looking for a good music downloader that i can find this stuff from. I've got two downloaders but they both suck (Warez & imesh). I've heard really bad things about kazaa so no thanks... if anyone uses anything else that is known to have a VERY wide variety of songs available, please lemme know :)

Thanks muchly :)

EDIT: Mea's character theme song is also a good example if you want some thing to listen to to get the idea.

well you could always search using Alltheweb.com, if you use the audio search it usually gets me the song I'm looking for, and then there's vgmusic.com if you wanna look up a calm video game song.

Well... those are all fine and dandy Blaze... but all the results i got were Midi's >.< Dun want midi's :( Thx tho, i'll be using the sites for other purposes :) Got any other's?

It could also be what i'm looking up too... the majority of game music can only be found in CD form with a price tag on it :(

the midis work fine, they are still game music, good luck finding good game music for free as an MP3, you'd have to know the exact name of the song to have a chance at finding it, and it would have to be extremely popular if anyone would have it online at all, and I've found some pretty awesome music by searching it by title with the Audio search on Alltheweb.com, I still enjoy game music in midi form as it isn't much different anyway, most of it, except like intro themes and ending themes and cut scens songs and such are just like background music in the game anyway and are simplistic enough that being a midi it sounds just like it does in the game.
