I'm good with computers, don't bug me about it.

For my avatar, I had to make it smaller, but now it isn't .gif. Why?

Also, whenever I seem to put images in my sig, it gets an error. Please help.

Stupid fourm things...

It doesn't matter if it's a GIF, but the probable reason for that is that the image editor is saving it as a different file type. Try checking the file type under the save dialog. As for putting an image in your sig, it's the same as putting an image in a normal post. What is the error that you're getting?

Your avatar appears to be a Gif to me-- it just sounds like you aren't as good with computers as you thought, wannabe geek!

The auto-resize removes animations. Resizing in paint removes animation even faster.

It IS a .gif- but if being a gif doesn't neccassarily mean it has animation.

Tch, I relize why the original image dosen't work. This fourm does not have that capibility. As for the error, I'll have to recheck when I get back to my proper computer. This laptop sucks!

That was mean Sage. I'm totally a geek >:/

That explains the discoloration and non-movement. Thanks Asakura.

You fail at being a geek, a real geek could spell capability, and would not say something like "This forum (yup- not fourm) does not have that capability." Based on what you quoted - you cant tell what you mean the forum is capable of. Sure the forum is not capable as an airliner - however it is capable of displaying images in the signature like any other forum- or even display animated avatars of almost any size- unless the admin limits it (and of course he does- nothing like a bunch of multi-MB 100x100 images per page to kill bandwidth and slow down a forum).

Just a comment like that, if the forum doesn't have the capability of accepting animations like the one you "have", then why does Sage's image is working (as well as being a .gif)?

If your original image works, if you transfer it directly on the forum in your settings, it should work...

So, that make me a geek :( My GIF worked first time.

Sage, am I a double geek to point out that in you rather cant post above you should have spelt "can't" with an apostrophe

Cyrox, I used The Gimp to make my animated gif. I believe I resized the constituent images before making the gif.

That's Grammar- not spelling, and "Spelt" isn't proper either :P

Okay, I'll accept your pedantic point about it being grammar, but it still needs and apostrophe :)

'Spelt' is perfectly correct. I'm British.

Well there is your problem right there. Your people stopped speaking proper English around the time cricket was invented.
