If you haven't seen this movie yet you should definitely drop what you're doing and find the nearest theater and watch it! This movie is as awesome as Snakes on a Plane. Planet Terror's the best zombie movie ever and the previews at the beginning and in between are freaking awesome. I hear Machete will be a feature-length film on the DVD when it's released and they're planning on making a second Grindhouse. I gotta warn you guys though. Quentin Tarantino's movie is incredibly violent in the first portion of the movie.

Woman with a horribly violent leg. Nuff said. Seriously though, it's a Quinton Tarentino movie. Those are really great period. You'd be missing out on a great movie. I hope to see it soon.

I don't want to be the only person who thinks it looks dumb...

But it looks like I am, ah well.

My friend got me all down on this movie...I'm going to wait for some reviews to get me interested...if I don't...I'll probably not see this movie. :(

Although previously unvoiced, I share your opinion MeaCulpa.

The part that throws me off the most from the ads is the scene where helicopter blades are being used as a weapon to decapitate/incapacitate people. The ridiculousness of that reaches a level I find offensive.

That's because it's supposed to be over the top as an ode to the "grindhoues" of the past, complete w/ missing reels (I've seen a review).

it would seem that official reviews can sum up the movie's hidden quality for viewers. Not sure that it would sway their opinion, but... :?

Yeah, that helicopter being used to behead a bunch of zombies is so offensive it should be removed from movie theaters (and stores, tv, etc) along with every other zombie movie that involves decapitation or violence towards zombies in general.
