to my knowledge the only ones who get custom titles are mods and the admin

There is Maloo-MF9. Though I don't know if hes a mod or admin. And beats me why and how he got the title Resident Communist

Maloo is a moderator, if you just look at the forum index, you'll see under each forum, there are a list of moderators that moderate it, and Maloo moderates the news bulletin, the newbie board, and the story board. Tom is the only admin I beleive, hense why his title is Site Admin. Sage is a mod, but apparently chooses not to have a custom title, as does Zilvra and nanaki, and Snow, and Azure Wolf, maybe I'm wrong and mods can't have titles most of the time, but that was my guess, I dun really know tho. Maybe Maloo just has a title because he leads a user group?

Maloo has a title because Tom let him have one for the whole Red Army Joke-- The other Mods dont have them because well-- theres nothing saying Mods get their own Title-- in other words-- Maloo is a special case

Well Snow has the title "Templar GrandMaster" but thats just becasue he has almost 800 posts. Eh, too bad no one can get a special title for doing something or what not. I'm happy as is

Templar Grandmaster Comes with post count. Mine is Templar Master, because I have over 400 posts.

yeah i've noticed the title changes but if you notice snow has over 700 posts which only makes me say he has a lot of free time on his hands.

Or that he is one of the oldest members here. He's been here longer than pretty much all of us, except for people like Sage, Maloo, and Tom. He joined December 17, 2004.

I wouldn't mind getting "Retired Grammar Nazi" for a custom title. :D

I have a title because I specificly asked for one. It used to be "Plothole Killer," but later I had it changed. It's not an Admin/Mod specific thing. However, I advise everyone NOT to go flooding Tom with PMs asking for custom titles. They get dumped in his already quite bottomless e-mail inbox.


I was the FIRST member on the original forum, save for Tom. I registered there sometime in October 2003. Since then then we have had a total of 3 generations of forums. It just so happens that I didn't hear about this one opening first. :3
