Does anyone have any idea what metal Basitin Armor is made of? To me the soldiers armor appears to be some kind of dull brass (but that may just be an outer layer over a stronger metal) while non-soldiers (like Keith) have armor that appears to be made of steel or some similar metal. Also, do Basitin soldiers carry shields into battle (kinda a dumb question but meh) and if so, what kind? Tower sheilds? Round shields? And how would the sheilds be constructed?

While we are on the topic of armor, what do the Humans and Keidran soldiers wear as far as armor is concerned and what style of sheilds do they carry?

thats actually not a bad question, i hope Tom comes by and lays down the law on that
but yeah the guards did look like brass but its probably some compound like it with metals we don't have here
the dock guards looked like some form of steel but, judging by that it was such a partial set, its probably something lighter(just for light patrolling to signify that they're guards, you really wouldn't want to fall in the water in full armor would you?)
as for Keith's... :? i have no idea il think about it and edit the post later if something comes to mind

I imagine Tom will let us know through the comic. If not, I suppose you could email him. If I had to guess though I'd say they don't use shields since when Keith was fighting that guard neither one held a shield, that and city guards would usually keep a shield either for decoration or use. Though in full battle I'd say you'd need to have a shield with just a sword and spear to fight with...well w/e
