I know this isn't connected to the foruns... but i might as well have a shot....

I used to go to the chat channel for twokids a while ago, bu currently i am unable to enter.... I put my normal Nickname for chat (ODash) and put #twokinds in the channel zone then i press connect... till there everything fine. But then while connecting, it says t can't verify my username so it uses my IP instead..... the prob is that to enter Twokinds channel, its necessary a username... so i can't enter.....

Can anyone help?

Have you tried waiting a little while anyway? That message often appears when using the java program, but it shouldn't hinder you entering the chatroom.

Hm... okay, maybe try this:

Don't enter any name in the name box, just put in the channel name (#twokinds). You'll have some wierd name when you get in, but that's okay. Then just change your name after you get in by using the box in the top-left corner.

I'd also suggest you do register your nick. To do so, I think it's /nickserv register [password] [email]. Something like that. If not, type in /nickserv help to find out exactly how.

Hope that helps!

I seem to be having a bit of a problem with the chat channel to... except mine doesn't come up with a chat window at all... It shows the log in thing, i type in "#twokinds" into the channel and when i click connect it opens up to a widow with a corput image thingy (you know the one with the red x in the upper left corner) I try other preset channels and get the same problem... is this my browser messing up or am i missing software of some kind?

Ps. I've tried with nick and without... same outcome...

This may be because you do not have java, or a proper version of Java installed on your computer. You can get the newest version here: http://www.java.com/. I'm not sure if this is the problem though.

HOWEVER, I would suggest to all of you who are having problems with the Java IRC, get a real IRC program! It's pretty simple, and there are several out there. I, personally use Mirc (http://www.mirc.com/) but you can also use trillian (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/) and several others. Find one you like, they are surely better then that java program.
