The second I give them my credit card number with my name on it, PayPal will try to charge my card another $2,000 that they claim I owe them. They have tried it before and they can do it again.

Aren't there any alternatives? Such as Paymate?

If they say you owe them 2000 dollars then you probably do owe them or - you have a problem you need to settle rather than ignore. Ignoring it will probably lead to legal trouble.

Never heard of Paymate- sounds like a porn thing.

Five years ago, I sold a game account on ebay. They didn't like the idea so they tried to take both mine and the person who paid for it's money. I reversed the charge and they sent their fake collection agency out to try to get the money back from me. They gave up two years ago because they realized that I knew there was nothing they could do. I have talked with hundreds of people that have had the same thing happen to them.

Horror stories galore. I am lucky

But that isn't the point. I was wondering if there was a different way I could donate to Tom.

Also, Paymate is an Austrialian company. Thus the mate :3

Aside from an envelope and an address I'm not sure of anything else.

My only issues with paypal were the fake emails that came in afterward tryin to get my info, their gettin pretty convincing, but the URL and email address gives it all away.
