Ok I've read a post that covers some of this already, but not quite all.

First off I run Photoshop CS2 and am pretty comfortable with it (use it alot for my video work and such) and my question is this:

I'm trying to teach myself how to draw manga/anime style (which is hard because I have horrible hand skills) to try my hand at a comic I've always wanted to do. This being said I kind of get by when it comes to pencil sketching but horrible with the ink part. So I was wondering if anyone inks or has tried to ink in Photoshop or Illustrator, or have any thoughts on the matter.

Past that point I understand the coloring process (well except for the shading part ... understand how it works just need a couple decades of practive to make it look right).

Was also wondering if anyone knew of any good links to any sites for digital manga coloring.

Well, if you're interested in comics, we can work in a joint project. I have a program called GIMP that's much like PhotoShop and Illustrator. I'm quite adept with it and if you want, we can both work on a web comic. If you send me the rough sketches, I can completely convert them and add text. Just go ahead and send the sketches through Email to zenith1_07@yahoo.com >^.^<

Tutorials can be found here http://2kinds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=728
Just take the time to go through them. Photoshop (5,6,7, CS, and CS2) all can ink well using normal inking with a tablet (or a mouse) OR you can use Paths to ink-- either way look through the tutorials.

And Mod-- this is not a recruting station
