Anyone have any really general common sense tips on drawing that are not all that common sense.
(e.g. Eye goes halfway between side of the head and center of it normally.)

I don't really need more tutorials

OH Thats how it works! I'm so stupid!*proceeds to beat self up for not noticing several hours earlier* But related to drawing, and didn't have to go through exactly that process.

Ill ask a more exact question, since that works better.

On drawing of the limbs whats a easy way You found for determining thier width and how they intersect(like in the inside of the elbow, how you overlap.)

A mirror couldn't hurt. Or a camera, if you're so inclined.

you should get one of those small wooden stick figures. not pinpoit-accurate, but roughly you'll know how to draw the body.

I did buy one of those a few weeks ago, and I'm very frustrated as to it's lack of flexability. Unless you're doing nothing but standing poses, it's junk.

Actually, it really depends on what you get. If you get one of those cheap, $19.99 wooden figures you get at Barnes and Nobles, then yeah, it's not going to be all that helpful for you unless you know what you're doing. However, there are plenty of other wooden figures to consider, you might try searching around for them. I, personally, find that the cheap wooden figure works fairly well for me, actually.

If you can't afford to spend money on your art, then you really have no one to blame but yourself.

Wait... art classes can teach you how to make art as well?

Wow, such a revolutionary concept. No wonder none of my teachers have caught onto it yet.

It's not so much affording it as it is actually having money to afford something. Been trying to get a job, everything around here is taken though.
