i don't know if it's to much to ask tom but could possibly in the profile info we have a gender slection not as a required field to fill out but as an optional one.

That won't stop anyone from lying and choosing the wrong gender.

If you honestly want to know the persons gender, simply ask them. If they lie, it will be no difference as if they had selected it when joining the forums.

i still would like to know weather if i referr to some one as a sir or a ma'ma if i'm using what they prefer to be refered to as instead of insulting them by using the roung one is all i'm saying

or atleast make a ranting topic of who's gender they are.

i think some one did try that once i know i did one with age groups i would have to look through the boards arcives to find out weather or not a gender poll was started or not .

thanks for the quick reasearch on that isaac saved me time but like i said just something in the profile makeing part none manditory would be fine that way someone who peeks my intrestes to talk to them i find out just how they want to be addressed in this setting
