Hey I was wondering, was someone controling what the illusion says or is it speaking the actual whole truth? :?

No, the only person controlling the illusion was Keith, subcontiously. It was a representation of what Keith would want most of all, created from memories.

So the answers given by the illusion is the truth or what he wants to hear.

The answers the illusion gave him were exactly what Keith wanted to hear. I thought Tom made that plenty clear.

It is possible that keith knew the truth or suspected that that may have been the case-- But it could also have been his wishful thinking...
