well, i have a tv tuner card now, just have to get my ubuntu isntall cleaned up[reinstall after backing up .conf files/folders] and then u can start to capture streaming tv...srsly, my log files are riduculously large, as in plain text files over 60mb in size[logs every shutdown, bootup, program startup, system crash, program installation and anything else...tempuratures, fan speeds...you name it >. > no wonder i have 10gb out of 250 left]

As many have said before me Free usually is illegal with some exceptions whiled paid for is usually legal (also with a few exceptions. Again it is very unlikely you'll get caught.
However in my opinion just because you don't get caught doesn't make it right. Our society is based on the exchange of products, you give something and you get something, and if your getting something and someone isn't getting something in return you are disrupting our society (in probably a minor way but nevertheless).Many people try to rationalize this in many different ways but these are almost all using faulty logic(I could argue those all day but I'm not going to as that isn't the intent of this thread).
Alright thats enough of my of my self righteous rant. There are many groups moving to making things for free on the internet and I expect these to eventually be the norm in a decade or so. There are many such things even today and you can search for what is legally free and only download things that are. So you may download it or not download it it's all up to you.

particularly you shouldent download anime, its a high consumer product in the entertainment department and will most likly from an unfamiliar source be infected with spyware and viruses, streaming it live is a little safer but then its the internet.. nothing it entierly safe. as for illegal i wouldent know too much about that.

Anyways please consider the source weather it would be illegal, infected, just dont do somthing stupid, ive done it afew times but im a bit of a tech with that stuff.
