Though we've gotten into the habit of calling it "missingno" :P

As you can see, we had quite the scare earlier this month.

Yeah, I saw some topic on it quite earlier and I was like, weird. I haven't seen that at all yet.

I thought it was pretty darn funny when I got clued in, XD

Essentially, the whole "freaky matrix script" appearance was a very simple forum prank. A selection of non-contributory or spam posts were edited, and the matrix text was added again. There was no intention to injure the conversations at hand, rather to make people's ears perk up and wonder what was going on. Considering the amount of theories and tests that cropped up in light of the mysterious text, it was one hell of a success, ;)

The only reason I'm letting the cat out of the bag is because I don't want you guys to think the forum is going to crash, or gremlins are eating away crucial code. ^^ Figure it was a long enough run, time to let you in on the secret.

This is just me, but I REALLY don't like computer pranks, and am just glad my own posts weren't affected....

This isn't the first time I've seen such happen, and I've never found it funny....
