Is the mother in the above comic, the same person as the lady with yellow hair in the comic below?

No, I don't think she is. It seems to me as if it's a disguise or yet another human host, and that the mother in above comic had something to do with Ephemural sometime before that event. Could be wrong, though.

That entire story arc has always left my head spinning...
I mean, is the silver-haired lady the old Grand Templar? Is that her kid? Were they both in Keidran form before Ephemural did them a little "favor" in exchange for using them? Since we see the little yellow-eyed black and white cat in the background in some scenes, the Master Seer was in on it? ...and since the entire town was revealed to be an illusion at the end, did any of it really happen?

But, yeah...the identities of the two ladies is a bit murky, since a lot of things happen between us seeing each of them, and there is no transformation scene...the silver-haired one just appears on the ground with Euchre holding her...that entire story seems to leap forward in parts, and has always left me confuzled...

So, yeeeeeaaah...I've always considered them to be two different people, both possessed by Ephemural...but it's definitely only a theory...

From what I gathered, the silver-haired old lady is the old Grand Templar who Evil Trace turned into a Keidran. On "20050613.html" she says she can't forgive Trace for what he did to her and if you look at the flashback of Evil Trace doing the deed ("20040308.html"), you see the 2 look the same, so they must be the same person :grin: .
That other girl in "20050228.html" calls her mother, so that must be her daughter, but nothing more was said about their relationship.
I assume the daughter might have been in some form, when the 2nd gang found her she said "What-? My..." while looking at her hand ("20040116.html"), but we were never told anything else again lol.
I'm not sure what black and white cat your talking about in the background.
I believe the town was just an illusion/mirage, not a dream. So it did all happen, but no one was real besides Trace and friends.

Could have been a whole idea for a story that Tom scrapped, or just hasn't visited yet. I really hope that whole party reappears in the comic. They were fun. :grin:
