Forum Rules
------------

1. No Excessive Swearing

The TwoKinds forums exist to create a community for the fans of the twokinds comic, and to encourage discussion of various topics between members of this community. Excessive swearing tends to be offensive and take the validity and graciousness away from your posts, so try to keep your swearing sparse. A good rule of thumb is only to swear when it is absolutely neccesary for emphasis, and no more than two or three times per post. Attempting to bypass the censors built-in to the forum system is absoultely unaccepable, and may result in your swearwords being edited by a moderator.

Using images with curse words is against the rule especially in your signature and or your avatar. Don't do it.

2. No Explicit Content

As many of the members of the Twokinds community object to pornographic and other explic content content, no pictures which show any type of frontal or rear nudity, or portray any sexual act, are acceptable. These types of images may not be embedded directly into a post. Links to websites containing these types of images are acceptable as long as there is appropriate, obvious visual warning preceding the link itself.. Embedding these images may result in a warning, or your banning from the forums. Posting links without appropriate warning may result in a warning, and the removal of the links by a moderator.

3. No 'Spam' Content

In order to keep the forums running in an orderly manner, posts should be kept relevant and concise. Posts created for the sole purpose of the promotion of a product or service are unacceptable- this means no advertising or shameless plugs. While almost all types of post content are acceptable in the Ranting board, please try to keep the amount of threads pertaining to a single topic within reason. Please keep threads in all other boards within the topic stated, or they may be moved to the ranting board or deleted by a moderator. Additionally, posts which lack real content, or which do not really dignify reply, do not belong in a forum environment, and may be deleted or treated as spam.

Spam can also be considered any post or thread in the wrong section. Threads will be either moved or deleted and posts in the wrong areas will be deleted. Know where to post before you post.

If your post is deleted posting about your post being deleted it is considered spam (same goes for creating the same topic of a locked or deleted thread). If you want a reason why PM a Mod. All posts about deleted posts will be deleted. Continually posting about your deleted post/s will result in being Banned from the forum.

4. Obey Common Courtesy

Obey the rules of common coutesy: this means you should treat other members with respect. It's easier on all of our eyes if you don't post excessively large images, don't post using multiple or hard-to-read-colors, and use smileys sparesely. Try not to double post; the forums do have an 'edit' feature, which will allow you to modify your previous posts. Necroposting, which is defined as posting in threads which have last been posted to more than 4 weeks ago, is only acceptable for threads dealing with very specific topics; and then only to ask a question, or provide a content update; not simply to make a comment. Posts found violating common courtesey may be edited or deleted by a moderator.

5. Mods

The mods here are mods for a reason. You can either attempt to respect/avoid them or you may leave. Getting in an argument with a mod is normally a bad idea. Don't do it.

These rules are subject to change at any time. These rules are not all-inclusive; other behaviors which are found unacceptable by the administrative staff may result in a ban, or the modification or deletion of posts or threads. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for breaking them.
