well we're all screwed... if the black hole doesn't consume us the gnome will.

This was actually my first crack-pot theory as to what would happen as a result of the collision (Jokingly of course. I don't seriously believe this). The underground labs will open a portal to Xen where thousands of aliens will pour out. Our good friend Freeman there will end up battling them all by himself and saving us all, until the combine come. I imagine that once the Combine attack, Av will act as a second Freeman (Neither of you will get that beer you're owed).
