I'm a bit disappointed that we don't have any ads Stateside like this, but I can understand what kind of a fray it's pull out of the dirt if they did air it here. Man it's a good one.

Before you click:

- This is NSFW. Fair warning.
- This isn't a hetero ad.
- Please, no "omg ew" or "..." posts.

The purpose of the ad is to promote AIDS awareness, so it's not some aimless ad.

Anyway, here you go.

Edit: If you don't have anything useful to say, don't say it. I didn't make this thread just so everybody could say "icky" and add it to their post count. I don't mean to be rude but come on.

Edit 2: Disclaimers made red for the blind.

I liked in the beginning, when everyone was pointing, and God did too... Absolutely hilarious...

But, yeah, gay, I'm scarred for life. I stopped watching when they started kissing; I was afraid to watch anymore.

It's not AO, just R Spike, no biggy.

Really, I didn't get where the AIDs part came in till the end.

If it were pornographic I wouldn't post it here, I'd post it elsewhere.

Personally I loved the way they depicted him growing up, and the angel-on-the-shoulder with the bazooka rather than an arrow. God that was the best moment.

yeah, that was pretty disturbing, i stopped watching after the part where the surfer gave the main character a condom.

Well thank you for that little gem of wisdom, there, Rachel! Because God knows that the world was just waiting for someone - and by someone I can only mean you - to fly in with his shoes on fire and less than a sixth of the video under his belt, making his mascara run because something on the internet spooked him again. Jeez, if you hadn't come in when you did I'm pretty sure we might have been forced to slog through a response more than a sentence and six brain cells long. So thank-you-thank-you-thank-you for saving us from that.

Look if the videos not to your liking you don't have to watch it, and furthermore, you don't have to post on it. There's plenty of videos I see folks post that I'm not a fan of, but ya know what? I just ignore them and carry on, there's other things to do around the forums.

Sorry if I sounded rude, by the way. I thought the video was funny as hell, I just lost my nerve a minute into it...

Hmm I wonder if this ad was meant for movies, or tv? It was pretty long for an ad.

it has a good meaning, the old guy in the Ferrari was kinda creepy though. I am amazed at that they can get onto the air in France watching that. in the US that would get shot down so fast, shame really.

I hope they got that one on before the watershed, so that more people would see it.

I'd think an ad like this wouldn't last long Stateside, even after that 9pm shift where the more adult ads can be aired. Too many people would freak out and call in their "icks" and "ews" to the complaint department.

As for being an in-threater ad, I think it might be more appropriate depending on the movie you're seeing. Wall-E or Bolt, definitely not. Knocked Up or Sex in the City, I can see it working.

You'd be surprised some of the ads that air in Europe, lets just say that this one is fairly tame.

I thought it was pretty good overall, I thought the arrows vs. rocket was pretty good. and the part with the trash bin sorta reminded me of DDoS. I laughed at the body builder part too with the loo kof *yawn*.

Didn't quite understand the part before he was in the hospital though... only had one chance to see it so I can't go back and look.

Interesting, but it should be more of a warning than a push in the other direction.

And just to spite you, EWWWWWWW!
